  1. Like it... How's the front lip?
  2. Nice. When the coilovers you mention are on that'll look EVEN better. Good work!
  3. Hello, America! Interesting conversion. I've no idea about the answers your questions, though, I'm afraid...
  4. The calipers, pads, etc at least are identical to UK Spec 4-pot front brakes. What are they for if not Supra fitment?
  5. Probably not, no! I think they're bump stops, to protect the bumper in the event of a minor collision. The previous owner put them on. My view on this is, why not just not crash your car...?! I've had a look at removing them but I think to do so would probably take a large chunk of paint with each, meaning a respray.
  6. Yup - looks like that's the one!
  7. Nice. Is she an NA or TT? That front end looks kind of like a Ridox but, uh, not... Dunno.

Ha ha! My brother has an R33 Skyline and I wind him up with this the whole time! He bites every time...
  9. Ha ha! I see! That's my private side coming out - there are more there, honest, guv'nor!
  10. Gotcha! Some great pics on here now. More video footage needed!

    why a supra

Shortly after I bought my second car, which was a Toyota Carina-E, I did a Google search for some tuning parts for it. Perhaps unsurprisingly, there wasn't the greatest selection available for that car and the websites that Google spat out were fairly spurious and had only the most tenuous links to what I'd searched for. One of the websites it did throw up made reference to something called a Toyota Supra, which I'd never heard of before. Intrigued, I clicked the link and was greeted by page after page of one of the most stunning cars I'd ever seen! I forget the exact pictures that first piqued my curiosity, but I quickly did an image search for "Toyota Supra" and, on seeing these reults, my obsession began. I had no idea that Toyota had ever made a car quite like the Supra (let's face it, today they're more known for making mini-cabs and bland shit-mobiles...). I decided then that, one day, I would on one of these awesome-looking machines. And now I do. And I love it! I'd definitely do it all over again if I had to, but actually, I love my car now, so it would have to be something epically tragic that would lead to me buying a different one and doing that. I know things change, but at this moment, I honestly can't see myself selling my beloved Suki for any amount of money. I can't think of any other car that can give so many thrills, wrapped up in a muscular body that still looks good by modern standards, for so little outlay. I would recommend to anyone to buy a Supra, but for the fact I like that it's such a rare car so I kind of feel like I'm in a little clique! Every other car on the road in London is a Porsche and there are also any number of Astons and Ferraris, but to see a Supra is something special and I often notice random people looking at my car and trying to work out what the hell it is! That must be the show-off in me! THAT'S why a Supra...
  12. Hello! Great looking car you've found yourself. AND it's a manual TT! Only really the stance to improve and you're there. Love the clean engine bay.

    Hello

Great place to see, but I wouldn't want to live there - it's like London on a cocktail of steroids and speed! You've got to try the boneless spicy buffalo wings with ranch dip at Appleby's. Makes my mouth water just thinking of them!
  14. That is truly hideous. If it IS a Supra, I feel nothing but pity for a once great car...
  15. Wow! That's the shiniest black ever! I can't wait to see the whole finished car...
  16. I'm not up on interpipe code speak. So... eh?
  17. Dunno how easy it is to do, but I'd personally go manual every time. Depends what you're after though, I guess...
  18. Wow, thanks! The combination of a Do-Luck front and a Trial rear IS hard to beat, though...
  19. Metallica! The Gods of thrash... Although by comparison to the others you list, perhaps that's too tame! How about Pantera, too?
  20. Ha! Sounds good to me! Let's see what happens at work. To get there from London will probably take at least 2 hrs at that time of day. Fingers crossed for an early finish, eh?!
  21. That's ace! It goes faster if you change the body kit! I want one...
  22. Very much! BUT... I can't afford the £1200+ that a genuine one costs even before anyone's thrown some paint at it, I've had recent bad experiences with a copy so won't go there again and I have a feeling that I'd trash the lower lip every time I tried to drive more than 30 yards in London. Why do you ask?
  23. I went straight on with normal (Halfords-brand) primer for two coats, applied another two coats of silver (one can of each does nicely) after 24hrs and then three coats of clear lacquer after another 24hrs. It seems to be flexible enough for the rubber and survived a car wash jet hose thing the next day so hopefully it should all last well. As far as I know... Which bit do you think is dubious?
