  1. I may be biased here but... Our Armed Forces. Envy of the world. Fact.
  2. I like the mesh in the front, for what it's worth. And the Top Secret bonnet is ace. Good work!

Hi! Nice looking car you've found yourself there.
  4. I didn't change either the fuel pump or injectors when I went BPU and the car has run with no problems for just short of 10000 miles.
  5. I think the 21 mpg (give or take) of my BPU TT is ace! Credit crunch? Recession? Pah!
  6. I know this has sort of changed to a Porsche 911 debate, but I've only just caught up... Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't power out of the corners exactly what you want? Slow in, fast out, etc... I love the barely existant TT spool-up for fast back lane driving for exactly that reason - you can floor it out of the bends and the response is, for all intents and purposes, instant. Ha ha! Here here! The very worst combination has to be an auto N/A though. Why would you...?!

    Hi to all

    Hi! Pics please...
  8. Oi oi! It's late for us all, you know!
  9. Fair enough... But put the same driver in a TT and he/she will undoubtedly be faster. Level the playing field and the more powerful (i.e. faster) car will come out on top.
  10. Depends how you define "good driver", I guess.
  11. Sounds like sour grapes, perchance...?
  12. Ha ha! To each their own, I guess...
  13. Okay... Looks like a GT car but doesn't go like one. We're splitting hairs here! The point is, I imagine the N/As to be basically pretending to be something they're not.
  14. Ha ha! Agreed... Good times!
  15. Wow! That's quite a transformation from the last set of pictures... Good effort - the car looks great.
  16. I've never driven an N/A, but then I wouldn't want to either - I have a feeling it would be a big let-down. Basically, to my mind, it would be a car that looks like a sports car, but doesn't go like one. I'm with you on the automatic gearbox thing, too - proper drivers have proper gearboxes, not go-karts, you know? So, for what it's worth, I would personaly go for a twin turbo manual (like I have...). Also, I'm not a big fan of the aero-top, but if that's your thing... As for the Jap vs UK thing, I guess that's got quite a lot to do with what's available at the time and how much you're willing to search/have to spend. Either way, it should be a lot of fun! Welcome, by the way.

    Hi All

Hello. Re door mirrors, my Jap-Spec ones are the electric fold-in type, but aren't heated. I didn't even know heated ones existed!
  18. Ha ha! That's ace. And Maiden Rule!
  19. Ouch! That sucks. Kind of brings it home when you see pics like that. Glad no one was hurt, though.
  20. Ha ha! My place in Hell was secured a long time ago!
  21. It looks ok, to be fair (with the exception of the terrible interior), BUT it's an N/A, so what's the point...?
  22. Mate I'm gutted for you. Is your car lowererd? If not, I don't see how it can be too low to go on a ramp. Sounds a bit odd to me. Like maybe these guys just can't be bothered? Who knows... As for bulbs, at a guess I'd say either a trip to Halfords or a quick Google session are your best bets.
