  1. I went for Millers CFS 10w-50 Competeition Full Synthetic Oil
  2. They look ace mate. Great Job you've done with her so far. It's been a good few years since I went out in this car (obviously when James owned it) but was lovely then. Looking forward to more updates.
  3. I'd say go for the JDL kit, be nice to see someone doing something lairy for a change. Just as a wish, get the bodykit fitted properly

    Supra badge

The Toyota symbol badges on my car are Gold. I assumed they were just a different varient of the grey one from Toyota
  5. Sounds about right, Engine Rebuild - 30,000km usage then time for Rebuild #2 (I have nothing to add but thought I would try to be funny)
  6. Is there anything else you need me to bring up this weekend? I've got most of the prep stuff already in the car. Drop me a text if you can think of anything else we need.
  7. Thats exactly why you need it. We like it stock round here. Not like up in Peterborough "Home of Veilside and left hand drive Saxos"
  8. I've seen this car in person, its an absolute shed. Bits stuck on with gaffa tape, super glue resin everywhere loads of small dents and scratches and the engine is as rough as anything....definately clocked so noone should buy it or offer Havard any money
  9. Think this car needs a Veilside Widebody kit to finish it off with some neons underneath and a Mahoosive sub in the boot....

    Ace cafe meet

    Thanks for organising Shane.
  11. Right next to Ace Cafe. However I'm getting the bus home...to collect my Supra and my son. Thought he may appreciate it. Should be there about 8ish.
  12. I think Michaels car (yellow one) is lovely. Would like to see what it would look like with your purple idea. As if the purple is a dark shade I reckon it would look great.
  13. Perhaps put a deadline in place for those wishing to attend to confirm attendance, then if still feasible you can book it from there?
  14. Sod the car, look at those handsome chaps in the photo phwoar!!!!!
  15. Ah now they're there I see what you did there

    Thank you

You're Welcome. I'll send you the bill
  17. Funny thing is, I was watching some Car Restoration show on TV 2 nights back and they had an old classic on there (cant remember what now) - Corvette Stingray I think? and this is exactly one of the arguments they had in terms of value. They did find the guy who used to own it and then rebuild the original engine etc as he still had it in a lockup. Agree though, hence why my car will be worth pennies in future
  18. Its probably the car shaking, the engine is not moving at all..... Just kidding, Facelift engine mounts are cack, pre-facelift FTW!
  19. I'm wanting to get this done on mine when I get a nice set of aftermarket wheels down the line. It was actually Dave's car that made me reconsider it. Saw it years ago when Jez had the TRD widebody that Rob bought that now belongs to Al (Massey)
  20. Just to add my views also (as thats what the thread is about) Car: I think a lot of time and money has gone into the car and the single setup is great. As mentioned the BN kit is a bit Marmite and as some of the panels are blended and in a non OEM colour, it wouldnt be a straight forward task of sourcing different OEM bits/aftermarket kit to suit the potential buyers tastes (should they not be a fan of the BN kit) and swapping them across. Price: Again as mentioned is the top end of the market for a Single Turbo Supra, not saying that they don't come around as Im sure they do but you're appealling to a very Niche section of the audience. Location: I know Ireland isn't a million miles away. But, potential buyers (outside of Ireland) would still have to fly/ferry over to view the car etc then work out means of bringing it back, registering it for UK (or whatever country they live in) roads etc etc. Not trying to sound negative about the car or anything as its a nice example so please don't interpret it that way GLWTS
