  1. I'd love my wife to drive my car but she won't . Apparently because its an Auto but I think she's scared of wrecking it.
  2. What did you do with the Celica wheel Lee?

  4. So things we'll need to decipher. - Start Location - Rest points/collection points/fuel stops - Route and driving roads to Scotland (incorporating above points) - Place to stay for the night - Good Parking/Good nightlife (if you like) - Roads to drive whilst in Scotland (Photo opps welcomed) - Any potential events to attend whilst there - Final departure spot - who is travelling where to go home? Theres a lot more to consider i.e. - Are there any events which would mean certain areas are closed - What dates are we planning: Friday-Sunday or Saturday-Sunday - How many people can we get involved - Potential costs I'm sure I've missed things out but if we start throwing some answers about well have a plan in place then can start working stuff out. Personally speaking, I doubt this will happen this year, unless the excitement and eagerness overwhelmes you all. Perhaps this can be a DragonCol for next year? One party starts in Wales, Another in South England and we merge together and head up North to Scotland?
  5. I wasn't too sure if DragonCol went to Scotland and thought about it whilst typing the message but couldn't check two things through Tapatalk on my phone. Again, this is just a suggestion/ideas thread. If anyone has any input feel free. The initial idea is London to Scotland. If this idea is essentially DragonCol then let's open the floor to other alternatives.
  6. Evening all! I thought I'd share an idea of a run/event Lee (Supraleeturbo) shared with me recently. The idea is to have a starting point of the event down in Brighton and then work our way up to a city in Scotland and possibly attend an event (if we scheduled it right) but along the way we'd have 'rest points' (possibly at service stations or landmarks) to grab more members who are more local to that stop, but also toilet breaks/fuel/food etc. We wanted to gather some thoughts on if this was a decent idea or if we were completely nuts and there would be no interest in it. The way I see it there are pros and cons, one pro point is that more people can attend then say DB but a con against that is that we can't drive like we do on DB as we're in the UK still. The route would have to incorporate some good roads as no one wants to drive on motorways for solid hours at a time so we'd need input from different members who are based all over and may know 'hidden gems' I'm sure I'll add things to this as I go along or perhaps Lee will also chip in with more details as this is his idea apologies for the brevity and any grammatical errors as I'm typing this on my phone. Thoughts?
  7. Just remember Jazz, don't put it in the exhaust when its hot
  8. I think he thinks this build will be a good one.
  9. Say "No, I want it cheaper"
  10. I recommended Jacks Transmissions to another member on a different thread. Glad to see its being done right.
  11. That's how it came into the UK and how he sold it.
  12. A good friend of mine and former colleague got married recently and when speaking with her husband we got talking about cars (as you do) and it transpires that he owned a Supra back in 1999 for about 6 months before selling it on. The car is quite distinct so you'd probably recognise it if you bought it (initially). It is (or was at the time) a TT6.
