The facelift housings take different bulb types to the pre facelifts so can't be swapped over with just the units (AFAIK). As Ric says when you buy them new they come with the loom and bulbs all plugged in and ready to go. You just unclip the loom wiring from the car and connect the facelift light loom up and viola!!

As above. Most likely the donor engine was from a TT Auto car and they took the ECU with it.

Same thoughts. Great job on the refurbishment and respray, look miles better. Not a fan of the halo rings.

Mine does this, so is possible. It happened after I had the TSD and converter put in. Not complaining though as it keeps the mileage accurate

Haha, was going to say the warning lights run off of a separate connector and there will be a single connection above that for the hazards.

This. Take the top of the dash off and look behind the hazard switch. Chances are you've forgotten to reconnect it.
