    Xbox One or PS4?

My mistake, that is the accepted failure rate for new tech, never the less I'm expecting something else to wrong with the Xbox shortly. I don't take either side but I think it is a bit sad to highlight one consoles flaws without first acknowledging the problems with the other.

The convenient thing with that is one of the supplier of the blu ray drives is Sony. I smell sabotage In all fairness though you cant ignore the problems which PS4 is facing, blue light of death, DOA consoles, overheating, hdmi port/cable faults and disc drives failing to eject a game or doing it without due cause. It's hardly flawless and already at a 4% failure rate in the US alone. It's not going to be magically fixed for the rest of the world when it is released so I expect that number to climb.

You mean like PS4 as well yeah?
  4. I only had a spare you minutes today, I got voice mail a few times but admittedly I didn't leave one. I'll try again tomorrow.

    Woops. http://m.uk.ign.com/articles/2013/11/14/broken-playstation-4-systems
  6. Blueprint are good quality on a budget. Alternatively an Exedy kit is just as good for a bit extra £. I've fitted a few of both so I'd recommend any of them.
  7. And to think, this is the new generation of "humans". The world is fucked.
  8. That's because Toyota don't list them separately where as Lexus do list a few bushes for the SC.
  9. Ideally I want a hardtop NA, would prefer not to butcher a decent TT. I'll keep my eyes peeled.
  10. I've been a long time supporter of MSB. Still keeping my eyes out for one for a project. Not much joy so far.

On a totally different topic, Scott, someone stole the M from your name..!!
  12. More info on this would be great.
  13. Indeed we did. Did some rough calculations on the thickness of the cores and I think we came up with something around 8 cm with the rest of the dimensions remaining the same. Bare in mind this was all theorised off the stock SMIC. I did finally manage to aquire 2 cores which were almost perfectly sized, they were short a couple of cm here and there but it would of been suffice for getting a benchmark. The bottom end tank would of required modifying for the piping though on the final design. Overall I think it worked out about 25% increase of volume over the stock IC utilising 2 side mounts whilst keeping the cores at a sensible thickness to avoid pressure drops and what not. I also had the ducting replicated for the other side. It was basically a rough mock up, needed a bit of tweaking but it was almost right.
  14. How big is the internal gate on that thing? It could the phone I'm viewing it off but it looks maybe half the diameter of the down pipe.
  15. The MAP signal wire on the VVTi is Pin 9 on block B75. http://www.2jzgarage.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/Supra_2JZGTE_VVTi_ECU_Pinouts.pdf I fitted one last week and all is well. You want to set the FCD to channel 9.
  16. I don't think so, there isn't anything special about those turbos and from a bit of reading but they are roughly the same size of a t28 VGT, granted the exhaust housing are much smaller, thus I think it's quite possible to fit twin t28 VGT's in the same manor on a 2JZ which was the topic of convo on page 3.
  17. That I have no doubt of, I'm just trying to show that 2 VGT t28 could fit in a similar manor to the stock setup. That picture was the closest thing I could find to show the size of twin t28s . An MPS 3 doesn't use such a turbo.
  18. The N54 engine uses somewhat similar mounting design to the Supra, although the turbos are not at all linked like they are on the 2JZ This type of design could and should work.
  19. As complex as it may sound and with reasonably sized turbos, something like the size of VNT Tt28's, I don't see no reason why you couldn't mount one lower down than the other. Granted it would take some very tricky manifold design but there is space for it.
  20. It hits 1.01 bar exactly, I've tested it 3 times with consistent results.
  21. I'd describe it as continuous thrust. Flex the right foot, box drops a gear and it keeps pulling.
