  1. A local guy has just bought this to replace his GT4. I just had a look at it, turbo timer on a non-turbo? Anyone ever seen that before? Veilside Supra It would be fair to say it's not exactly to my tastes - Veilside everything including boot badges.
  2. Best of luck with it all, having your own place is worth all the hassle and expense. Just about My first flat took 6 months to go through, for no apparent reason. It was very frustrating but you soon forget once you get the keys. I should be completing on another place soon, no chain at either end but its taken over 3 months Make a nuisance of yourself, bug the solicitors and mortgage people every week if there is no progress. One of my mates sold his place within month, so it does happen.
  3. Same as most people, my locals: Dovey Inn or Penhelig Arms in Aberdovey. Fox and Hounds (before they spivved it up) in Shenstone.
  4. What about BradB and Flipfinger?
  5. I suspected that may be the case, it was all buried at the time. The Torque IC website is still there: Torque IC
  6. ...or the Supra he was building for 'registered nutter'?
  7. Mine is the number plate of the Delorean in 'Back to the Future'. I watched it the night before I joined and didn't have any better ideas at the time.
  8. Good, someone might buy my flat and hopefully not pull out at the last minute this time. I've got another place going through imminently, its going to restrict my fun tickets somewhat
  9. I read he was caught by camera gear in his own car. He went out on a jolly, not signing any paperwork and didn't realise the onboard camera was operational as it was a new car.
  10. "The Ludlow district judge heard that Constable Milton was trained in advanced driving skills and was “familiarising” himself with a new car." So he was caught doing 159mph in a car he wasn't familiar with? I'd love to know how the court justified him doing 83mph in a 30 zone, advanced driver or not.
  11. Don't I know it! Go to Aberdovey or Abersoch with 200k and you'd be lucky to find anything half decent.
  12. Renting to friends/family locally is ideal, but if you have a property 200+ hundred miles away an agency is probably the only way to do it I guess. Also, I'd be worried about any work being done on the place without keeping an eye on things. Good luck with it all.
  13. Depends where you go, you're looking at 250-300k around here for a terraced house with four rooms and no garden or drive.
  14. This is something i'm looking at as well, South Wales is still quite depressed and a few places up North spring to mind. How have you found the rental game? Any problems? Do you go through agencies?
  15. Spotted a red Supra parked up at the Meole Brace Sainsburys on Friday night. Also, a nice black one with a TRD spoiler turning off the A5 towards by the Terrace restaurant in Brownhills/Chasetown on Sunday morning. A bit later on, there was a silver Supra on the A5 heading from Cannock towards Lichfield. Anyone here?
  16. As above, parked in the ATS garage car park in machynlleth at about 3:00 this afternoon. Anyone?
  17. Rams and F150's are better in theory than in practice. You can get them cheap enough over here now.
  18. Doublecabs start at about 18500 for the boggo one, up to 26000 for the top spec Aventura Auto.
  19. RWD, switchable to 4WD whenever you need it.
  20. Yup, the american trucks are nice. I looked at a Dodge Ram, but the LHD and fact it's horrible to drive put me off. The Navara is called the Frontier in the US and classed as 'midsize' so it's pretty big. They get a Nismo tuned 4.0l V6 over there

  22. The Isuzu is nice but too slow - 20+ secs to 60. There is a power upgrade, but they are still not as powerful as the new Navara.
  23. I stand corrected, it was v3. I'm used to numbers in going in numerical order.
  24. Have a look on the new car discount sites, they are about 2-3k less than RRP but the wait is still as long. The one i've ordered is the Outlaw, i'm only going to keep it a couple of years because its a co. car and the tax break on pick-ups is going next year. I can't wait to get it though.
