What date we going for? I can work out some travel and stop points....

This is the first year it has clashed I believe. I try and avoid the same weekend, but they shifted their event by a week and bumped right in to mine. We will do a big turnout at another event, maybe japfest2 or something like that, but it would be good to have a stand if people are up for it.

Good parking at the London Eye. All Bar One nearby for those with bladder problems, good backdrop and usually fairly empty at night!!

It certainly is a big list, should be an amazing event. The 4 mile tunnel will be quite something. I nearly went deaf in the 1/2 mile tunnel coming out of Rouen on DB14v2.0, this one will be even better!! I will be letting Eurotunnel and the hotel know final numbers next week, so if you planned on trying for a second hotel room so you didnt have to share then shout now...

We do. I will post it up later. It's a few more than I expected as the shop oversold various items....!! Next year we will do a 'bundle' of the hotel and eurotunnel together so it cant do that again.

Blitz used to do one of those too. Takes a 52mm gauge I believe which is teeny tiny when you are trying to read it flat out at 100mph...

Well this could be your lucky year, theres about 45 Supras coming to Rotterdam in May so you may get to see a few of them if you can get there.

Bob, you just plug it in to a PC, and then open up the folder like its a normal drive, find the itinerary folder and copy the files in. Simples.

That Halfords price for the TomTom XXL is a great price. I wonder if I should buy up a job lot of them and offer them with the routes preloaded!! Sadly as time goes on the real SatNavs are being replaced by phone navigation systems so I have to find a way of making this work on other devices some time. Co-pilot seems to be the most popular but I will do some research.

We are hugely over subscribed on this one, looks like 47 cars on the Eurotunnel (its all good, I had enough in reserve..) so there are no more tickets available folks. Thats going to make parking a bit more lively at the lunch stops, but the 4 mile long tunnel will be epic.

The organisers shifted Japfest by a week which means it bumped in to my booking for Dragonball. So I doubt we will have a huge stand this year unfortunately.

We will have an option to purchase an extra room after the ticket run or directly with Steve as we know a few people want 2 rooms. If we put it in at the same time as the ticket run then they will buy those by mistake. I always overstock on rooms anyway and bring the numbers down after, so we are usually okay.

All tickets now sold out!! Full itinerary will be posted closer to the date. We will provide - SatNav routes (for TomTom Itinerary capable devices, and Garmin) - 2 x small oval stickers for the side windows - 1 x large orange or red number 15 for the rear window (or bodywork) - 2 x name stickers (based on your registered forum name or some other random chosen name depending how humourous I feel...) - possibly a full route pack showing the maps and timings for each day The hotel is for 2 nights including breakfast, if you wish to join us for the evening buffet food then please make sure you have purchased the correct number of buffet vouchers for the correct nights.

I get my european cover from the AA, I'm a platinum member so I get 2 days Euro cover free, and just have to pay £25 for the next day. So did almost everybody who wanted tickets get them? Next year we will bundle the hotel and eurotunnel together to avoid mismatched shopping karts. Should make things easier. And dont forget, there is always Dragonball15v2.0 which should see us returning to Spa with a few tweaks to the routes as we go.

Check the traction control fuse. If you pull that fuse then it drops the overdrive function and the lights flash a lot on the dash. I used to pull it for drag racing as it also does stuff between gearchanges to make things smoother. Check that first.

Last time we went to hire Brunters is was £7k for a Saturday... I wonder if North Weald is easy to hire...

As a club we do own a VBox unit just for testing such things...but it needs to be on an airfield or private road. If it is only £50 an hour for Brunters then the club would fund a mid week booking on that place. Interesting to see the 0-60 times come up again. The time for Jake was a stock VVTI auto btw...

DB V2.0 will be towards the end of Sept to keep it away from JAE. Not sure exactly which weekend, more than likely 25,26,27 Sept, but will need to double check that.
