If anybody does that I cancel Dragonball for ever. Running an event with 50+ cars through Europe, staying in a hotel and finding places to stop is close to impossible. If people start to randomly book themselves and take liberties by using the same routes, the same hotel, the same stopping places without actually making the effort to get in on the tickets in teh first place then I refuse to run it for anybody. I'm very strict on that, I set limits on the numbers coming for a reason, I basically cannot cope with any more than we already have. Anybody found to have booked direct will be identified on the forum so everybody knows who caused Dragonball to be cancelled forever. Sorry to be so harsh, but I absolutely cannot have people booking their own way there.

Lol, I tried to use a negative number but it refused!! I kept track of hte post count before I did it so I can return you to normality at some point in the near future...

The mods referred your reported post to me and I gave them free reign to handle it in the most amusing way they can....That may invole a name change, title change or hiding all your posts in one go...or maybe a ban. I hope they have a good sense of humour

Lets see what rooms they allocate and then if anybody really needs a double we can work out a swap shop.

Rooms are all confirmed with the hotel now. Just to be aware that most rooms are twin so there is a small chance you may end up in a twin if you asked for a double. They have said they will do their best to give doubles to those who asked for them. They have also said we can get a maximum of 100 people in the restaurant in one go, so if you want buffet tickets you can still buy them but when I get up to around 90 sold I may stop it there.

Fast and Furious meet at Bluewater on the 4th April...could be a first event for the car.

We have to let cinema know with 7 days notice how many tickets we want, so the last day for buying tickets will be Saturday 29th March. So if you want your tickets get them now!! I wont have any spares on the day so buy them now if you can folks!

Yep, its actually space for 80 cars including marquee I believe. We are still short an organiser on this though...Adi has said he will organise but wont be there for the event. I would certainly prefer the main organiser to be there if possible.

I'm not enjoying the countdown either as I havent finished the routes yet!!

Dont forget with 100 cars that means about 160 people, which means you have to share round the lapdancer so you all get a turn!!

25 tickets sold so far, should be a good turnout.

Yep, thats the easy part. The hard part is finding somewhere you can all park for the lunch stops!!

We are missing a few of the regulars, Lui, TTPaul, TRD Rob, Guigsy. I do wonder just how many tickets would sell if I just left it totally open. We are 4 tickets over the expected amount anyway so I cant slip any extras in There's always DBv2.0....

I will certainly be interested in the whole weekend. Bournemouth it great. We need to get everybody down there for the weekend!!

closing this thread while we think what the next steps should be. If GRAMS wants to reply again I'm happy to reopen it, but as they said this is their one and only post then you guys are just wasting your time.

And tickets should go on sale this week for club members. £6 per person (the club is paying some of the cost to get the price down) Not sure what will happen after the film, karting seems off the cards so I'm trying to find somewhere local that can do some food and has parking.

Thats fine, first one that checks in gets to settle the £11,000 hotel bill...
