  1. I hope your TomTom can take the files...not all the TomTom units can!! When you go to the menus do you have Itinerary Planning as an option? I will email them across, let me know which email address to send them to.
  2. TomTom and Garmin route files are done!! Hard work making the TomTom do what I want, I really need to find a better way! If anybody wants to check the Garmin files let me know. I wont release the files until the week before we go so that if I have to make changes then the wrong files wont be out there anywhere. If anybody needs them before that let me know, but dont be surprised if the routes change between now and the actual release date. I have left the double back route in there to get us over the second bridge and back again.

  4. I'm tweaking the Saturday afternoon routes at the moment, and I'm contemplating putting in a double back after the tea time stop so we can go over a second bridge, but then take a different route in to Rouen. Anybody think this is a crazy thing to do just to get in the bridge (it means going over the bridge, once round the roundabout and back over the bridge and then follow a different route). Screen shot attached showing what we would do....is this just wasting time for the sake of a bridge?
  5. Just booked my travelodge for Thursday 18th Sept, thought about driving up in the morning, but with a 7am departure from the travelodge I didnt fancy a 5am departure from London!! Friday route has been reworked to take in the new hotel, just the Saturday and Sunday ones to tweak now.
  6. And great news for you two is that we are about 10 minutes outside the Rouen town centre by taxi so you can even nip in to town to sample the locals and still be back before the sun comes up.
  7. We now have Burna (and Pig as a passenger) and Darren (with Scott as a passenger) signed up!! Nobody else fancies this then?
  8. It will go in the projects section. The plan is to get the side, front and top profile pictures of a silver supra and ask everybody to come up with designs to see what suggestions people have, and then get the car wrapped or plasti-coated with removable stickers so they can be changed each year if required. The first thing I need is a new 3 spoke steering wheel as the current one is pretty shot. The rest will come along as we find the parts. It may well go to JAE so everybody can see it in its natural state before we start work!!
  9. We have talked a lot about having a club car which can be used as a rolling advert for the club for ages. After a bit of looking around somebody offered me a twin turbo auto. He wanted the club to have it so it was a giveaway price. It has problems with the lacquer on the bodywork, and the interior needs a bit of work, but mechanically it is sound... So I popped down to Bournemouth yesterday to collect this....
  10. Moon on a stick...do we have that in a stock silver colour?
  11. Do you have it in a larger size as that might not print out too well. Yep, Ellis was going to be my next stop.
  12. Anybody got a copy of this image without the wrap designs on it? ie just a plain silver car?
  13. yep, I would be up for that. Buckmore park also have a good circuit. Might even be able to lay on some money for food if enough people sign up and we could go for a tunnel run through London afterwards!!
  14. Hi Scott, Can you post up the high res versions of those to facebook, or email them across to me? Some great pictures in there.
  15. Hi Steve, I will be working on the routes this week, it will be a version of the Rouen routes from 2 years ago, with various tweaks to include the hotel change and a wee wee stop on the Sunday morning part!! I cannot afford to do the usual free stickers for this event as we are losing enough as it is, but I'm sure others would happily buy some from you if you are getting them.
  16. Would be great to see you there. Shame the numbers arent up for this, but will still be great as I can keep the convoy together better with lower numbers.
  17. The weather actually looks okay for tomorrow, so this should be a good meet. And the beer and BBQ at The Falcon afterwards should be great!! See you all tomorrow.
  18. The convoy from Beaconsfield will go to the Falcon and be there about 9.45am, which should give enough time for a quick breakfast. See you all at Beaconsfield around 8am, the Falcon around 9.45am and Heritage Motor Museum around 11am!! Weather actually looks like it could be okay.
  19. With the short timescales and the 2 big events either side of the 13th Sept I cannot afford to take the chance on this. We are already running Db14v2.0 at a loss, I cannot take another chance on something where I know we have JAE the weekend before and DB14v2.0 the weekend after. So I will be telling Santa Pod it is a no from us for this year, but we would like another date for next year. Ian Blackett (the pod Photo chap) has said a lot of the RWYB days are under subscribed now, so maybe we can slip in to one of those before the end of the year. Sorry to have got your hopes up folks, but I just cannot risk the money when we have so few competitors which is what we need to make this worth attending as a spectator.
  20. In the absence of anybody else organising the convoy from the south east, here are some suggested timings, I will put these in their own thread too. I will be at Beaconsfield services (with JamieP no doubt) so somebody else at Clacketts needs to leave there on time and keep the convoy moving. 7am arrive Clacky 7.15am depart Clacketts round M25, M40 and stop at Beaconsfield Services 8am arrive Beaconsfield services - collect JamieP and Branners as a minimum 8.15am depart Beaconsfield services 9.45am arrive at The Falcon 10am (roughly) Depart for museum 11am arrive Heritage 3pm leave heritage 3.30pm arrive The Falcon 4pm - BBQ and Beer

  22. I remember I met Jamie at the M40 services last year, might be same again this year then.
  23. Yes, thats a given. So nobody has sorted one yet? Wish I had asked earlier, I'm off to Cornwall on Saturday morning for a week so its going to be a struggle to sort it!!
  24. good question, there is nothing in their calendar for the Paul Walker event, theres nothing on google about it and the date hasnt been allocated to anything else. It IS cancelled, but let me see what they say if I contact them...
