Hotel booked already for 60 rooms, and evening buffet for 80 each night. Tickets wont go on sale until January though, got to get DB14 v2.0 out the way first.

Hi Jamie, I will need his full name, address and car reg please. If you have any others then feel free to get them to join in. DB13 to Rouen was great, the hotel took the event down so this rerun with a decent hotel in Rouen should rival the Spa run this year.

Big thanks to those who have signed up. We are seriously in a hole here folks. I have booked 25 spaces on the number who said they would sign up, and I cannot cancel the extra hotel rooms or Eurotunnel. The club stands to lose quite badly on this, and the costs will be thrown in to DB15 to try and recoup the losses. If anybody wants to sign up please do. Jamie, if you have any friends who want to sign up (same goes for anybody else) then please ask them to. I dont mind running an extra DB each year, but I think for next year it will be a group of 10 cars and I bet I know who will be there with me!!

Just remembered, this is an after market Stillen front bumper. I will try and take off the plastic cover for the indicator and see if I can work it out from there. The nearside one is locked in fine.

yep, tried the push and twist, kept turning the bulb holder until it felt like it slotted in but wouldnt twist up or down!! I will try again.

Got mine off a guy on the forum, £450. They had been for sale for weeks and nobody snapped them up, so I thought they were worth a go!!

The indicator bulb in the side indicator unit on my bumper has come loose. It's a facelift so its actually in the side of the bumper and not the wing. I have tried everything to get the indicator bulb and housing to mount in but I seem unable to do it. Anybody got any diagrams of how it fits or how it twists to make it lock in?

I didnt know that, and I just did a cursory check when I collected them. I will give them a once over tomorrow but they look pretty fresh. I will let you know about the Volk.

Mine came with 285 on the rear which is why I'm asking. The 285 fits under the arches just fine as they have been rolled, was just a bit surprised to find that size on there. Car handles totally differently now, maybe the Lexus wheels are the way to go.

And in answer to the question about how I would refurb the Lexus wheels, there is a really thin rim around the edge of the wheel, that would be polished or silver, and everything else goes black!! If somebody can do a photoshop on that it might be handy!!

I hate you all...!! I was expecting half and half on the LExus vs Volks, seems almost nobody liked the Volks and I'm going to have to stay with the Lexus wheels and change the front tyres away from R888!! I have the centre caps on now and they look even better. Will take a picture later. What size tyres are supposed to come on the Lexus wheels?

The attached pictures show the damage to the Volk wheels. I'm sort of with you Chris, it is a risk getting a repair so I will see what people think of this damage. The Volks are amazingly light compared to the Lexus wheels, but the Lexus wheels are the right offset, even with a 285 tyre they dont rub, where the 265 on the Volks meant I had to get the arches rolled. Centre covers are on the rears now and look much better. If somebody wants to play with photoshop on a different colour, an all black and a really thin polished rim that would be interesting to see.

SRD now have a paddle shift with the Syvecs ECU which doesnt modernise the shifter, but gives you paddles so you can probably just gaiter the shifter and hide that its an auto.

My car is back from the accident, and Marker Study are apparently going to pay me to buy myself a new wheel to replace the damaged one. I have tracked down a set of Lexus 18s but I'm undecided which I prefer as Ibrar says he can fix my broken volk. What do people think? I do plan on refurbing the lexus alloys back to black with a polished lip..

If you have the designs behind that I'm sure people would be interested to see it. The 'push down' bit was the most interesting bit from Brian's design all those years ago. I think one person mounted the OD button on a race steering wheel.

Hi folks, My supra is back from the body shop, but while it was away the insurance lapsed. So I need to call round the insurance companies and find a good price. Obviously there is Sky, who else is worth a go at the moment? The car is modified but only with wheels, straight through exhaust, bodykit and suspension. Whos good at the moment?
