When detonation occurs, it will attack the weakest place in the cylinder, that being the head gasket. The thicker the head gasket, the larger the weaker place is.

A thicker headgasket will attract more detonation if this is to happen inside the cylinder, that's why it's a frowned upon practice in engine tuning generally.

Sounds cool, I'll arrange with Dick to meet up and we'll meet you at the Somerfields A22 roundabout? What time? Must be misfire season in Hastings, mine has developed a small hiccup but only when getting up to full temp on part throttle. I think it's plugs though, getting some more tomorrow to throw in and try.

No need I'm here Was planning on coming to something on Sunday, a friend just txt me about Jap Bash but I replied that it was probably 'just the usual 5 million blue Scooby's and a few proper sports cars' He assures me it's better this year, but I've been to the Piltdown Man and i can't remember the space there being that big if hundreds turn up? Still not a Bolney replacement IMO either

Agree with Thorin. If you signed that thinking it was serious and that they might actually make JC the PM then you need to have your right to vote taken away. People bitch and moan about the government all the time, and when they actually try to do something a bit light-hearted they get slammed. Can't win can they. And tax payers money? Let's face it, that took no time at all to knock up, find something important to moan about people!

That's not an AGP slot on the left, the contacts in it are too large and there's no clip as you get on an AGP. Looks like an old motherboard expansion slot, I had one on an old board years ago, struggling to remember what went in it though..

Looking at those photos, I'd say not. If you look at the cab, the corners of the bootlid under the convertible bit seem to flick up very slightly whereas the saloon is very flat.

From Toyota UK I believe they're in the region of £1k each, I imagine Steve Manley could get them cheaper though. I shouldn't think they sell too many of them

As above, preferably with wifi and at least 512Mb of memory. Would be great if it had some battery life left in it. Not worried about operating system etc. as can sort that. Possibly something else of similar size (the X30/31 are pretty much sub-notebooks), but I like the ThinkPad's for build quality. Cheers Mark.

Silver J-spec driving toward town along the seafront, I was going in the opposite direction to try and find parking (Police had closed off the road behind my work where our car park is ). Then turned off the seafront and there was a lovely green one parked up behind the White Rock Theatre, with the chap getting in to it. Was in a bit of a rush to get to work and also swearing at the truck driver coming the other way who wouldn't give way

I agree Might be worth trying parcel2go for the postage, have worked out pretty good for me before, just need to stick them on the bathroom scales to get a weight.

Just to be clear, the cabin carpet is in good condition apart from a scuff which will be covered by the mat anyway and the boot carpet is black and in ok condition, just needs a clean up yet? If so then yes very interested

Sure, I know I'd need a subscription to Sky, just wondering if this card has a slot for the Sky card thus allowing you to pick up the sky channels? Don't suppose it works much differently but would just need the decryption from the car?
