    Gravel driveway

You're going to at least need an axle stand, and a base for the axles stand, something like a concrete block. Patio slabs will crack on the uneven surface under the weight so not ideal. Wouldn't have thought the kitchen table top is ideal..
  2. I'm tempted to use a nailgun..
  3. It fell off for the third time about 6 weeks ago, just haven't got round to putting it back on yet. Have got some really decent sticky tape for it now from work, but every time I think about it, it's throwing it down with rain And nope, not been tugged once to my suprise. The plate is in the car, as it fell off in front of me as I went to go home from work lol
  4. Yeh, that would have been mine, partly-red and partly-covered in mud? poor old girl hasn't been cleaned in ages
  5. My girlfriend said a guy in a Black Supra waved at her looking very suprised to see her driving lol. Down Seaside road by the sounds of it?
  6. Ok, cheers Jacko I'll give it a go
  7. It bloody should have been, but I think it's what you can call a 'captive audience' I was tempted to go buy a couple of Coke bottles and fill them up instead
  8. The D60 is the replacement for the D40X by the way!
  9. I bought a D60 with the VR lens a few months ago as my first DSLR, it's great and easy to use to start with to get very good results but also has all the features and settings to use it at a more advanced level. I'd recommend the VR lens if it's within your price range (they do a version that comes with it) as it allows you to take shots in lower light without getting so much blur, and it really does work well.
  10. Even better Cheers Jacko, that's brilliant. What's the best way to use the .pdf, do I need to convert it in to a jpg or something? Not used a vectorised image before
  11. I did this on Wednesday on the way back from London, knew it was getting low as the light had started coming on but was several miles of motorway before I could get on to the A21 and to the first petrol station. Got to the petrol station to find it had run out of petrol Drove round for about 10-15 minutes looking for a petrol station until the needle was well below empty and I chickened out. Ended up calling a taxi to go to the nearest petrol station. Didn't have a jerry can either so ended up £8.50 for a jerry can, £12 for the taxi and £6 for petrol. Expensive bloody trip!
  12. Lol.. great, and there was me thinking I bought something useful
  13. Cheers Si, sorry it's not a great picture but it's not easy to get a decent picture of the inside of it as it's quite small. They've used choc-blocks to daisy chain the connections. Not sure why it would have permanent and switched 12v though, don't see the point?
  14. Lol.. cheers guys! Yeh, it has an LED which I assume shows when it's powered up? Also some block thing inside it. Garath, that would be cool if you don't mind thanks?
  15. Might help if I attach a picture too..
  16. Hi Everybody, I bought this little box from Paul E, I think it was stock left over from his Miami GT days. It was just the box and no instructions and I'm not too sure how to wire it in. It has obviously got 12 points for power to be taken from it for wiring in accessories and then I'm assuming the 3 points at the bottom are for wiring it in. I had assumed that it would just need a 12V supply, but it looks a bit more complicated than that. Has anybody got any ideas please? Thanks!
  17. Hi Everybody, Wondering if somebody would be kind enough to help me with this, I'm sure with the right knowledge it would be dead easy to do, but unfortunately I don't have the knowledge! I need the 'MC WELDING' from this board turned in to a logo that I can use. Not sure if it shows up that well but the actual words are in a very dark blue and the outline in black. It's slightly italic and very similar to a thick Arial Bold font but I can't replicate it properly Anybody?
  18. Intercooler is a very good point, I did replace mine with a good low mileage one as my standard UK one was shot to pieces. If money is no object, get in on the list for the latest batch of Chris Wilson ones as they're excellent, fit where the standard one goes and will support the power you want easily.
  19. Use DOT 5.1. As for pads, depends really on your driving style and whether you intend to just do fast road driving or track work?
  20. I can't remember the name of the place, my colleague went there this time to help set it up. I'll try and find out for you
  21. And the second decat will need a bung for the O2 sensor, so you can't use the same decat as the J-spec cars. Several traders on here sell both pipes.
  22. I'm running all-but 400bhp on a UK with just decats and an exhaust. That's at 1bar. They should run 1.2-1.4bar and I have water injection to go on too, the results should be interesting. Still, 450bhp is a bit hopeful. If you mean exhaust manifolds then you can't replace them unless you go single or aftermarket twin. As for exhausts, they're all pretty good really. I run a Blitz and love the sound of it but it is quite loud. It also hangs very low even on standard suspension and can be a pain on speed bumps.
