  1. Nothing at the moment, it's running 1bar after a decat and that's fairly stable, sometimes see it creep to 1.1-1.15bar on a cold day and with a long in gear-pull.
  2. Ah, I see. Update your garage then, tsk!
  3. Unless my eyes are playing tricks on me, that's not a UK car..
  4. Dazzi, can I have #5 Trichterfalle please Bank transfer ok?
  5. I'd still really like one, what's available?
  6. They fit in the Supra ok, though I assume I'll need to make up a pair of the speaker panels for the doors?
  7. Looking forward to pictures later, will definitely be having some from you
  8. Jon, I'm interested in the speakers as looking for some to upgrade mine. No idea what they're worth though, ballpark figure?
  9. I'd definitely be interested in one or two of these, haven't had a Venus fly trap for a long while and would love one again. They look a lot nicer than anything you'll find in a garden centre. I assume you manage to post them ok if you've sold them before on eBay?
  10. It'll be a PHR Street kit Too slow!
  11. No idea Good luck mate, be good to see it all installed. Shame it didn't end up on my car though
  12. As they only made 200 UK manuals, in red, white, blue, silver and black. If they sold the same amount of each they only made around 40 in black, maybe a few more, maybe a few less. You'll need all the luck in the world mate
  13. My old girl was on wedding duties at the weekend too, here with the Supra-mad petrol head groom (who was made to squeeze in to the back seat!).. http://www.i-macca.co.uk/stuff/weddingsupra.jpg
  14. Ignore me, read the first post properly now
  15. The ST205 Celica GT-Four has the same brake pads as the UK spec Supra brakes, the calipers are all but the same, just cast differently with Celica written in them As Kranz says, ADL Blueprint stuff is pretty good, half the time it's the same as the OEM stuff but cheaper in a different box. Just put some on my missus' Civic Type-R and quite impressed with them.
  16. Big thanks to Jamesy for sorting me out with everything I need. Top bloke!
  17. I've got stock black coloured Recaro SR's in my UK spec, still with the cream leather rear and cream carpet. I wasn't sure if I'd like it or want to find a complete black interior but I actually think it looks ok. The SR's are a revelation after leather stock fronts too Pics in my garage
  18. The theory is that the head bolts were never tightened enough, most people recommend tightening them harder than factory specs. I don't think it helps that now as they're getting older they've not been so well serviced and a lot of people haven't used the correct coolant causing overheating and corrosion of the head. This was certainly the case of my non-turbo, the head was in an awful state and ended up being welded quite extensively to save it. The head gasket is a lot easier to do in the non-turbo, the turbo is a bit more hard work with tricky bolts and bits to get to! There's also some narrow body ones, JDM only though. I *think* they were only the 2.0 but I'm not sure?
  19. Also, on the 3.0 Turbo, the oil filter is in the most ridiculous position!
  20. UK cars are 3.0 or 3.0 Turbo, 7M-GE or 7M-GTE, both suffer from head gasket problems and both come in an awful auto or 5-speed manual. JDM's also come in 2.0 Twin Turbo or 2.5 Twin Turbo 1JZ-GTE. The 2.0 TT had a digital dash. I've had a non-turbo and turbo and they're big bouncy barges and are nowhere near as nice to drive as my UK mk4 Comfy cruisers, well behaved on the limit but not a car to chuck around really, they feel their bulk. They rust like mad around the rear arches and sills too, very rare to find one without any rust these days
  21. Digsy, had a look at some of them and it starts to get a bit expensive with all the fancy bits and bobs. This way should be a lot cheaper and will give me something to do for an afternoon Cheers Jamesy, the 25mm I got from some plastic plumbing bits and connectors I came across on Screwfix. Might be completely the wrong thing though, like I said I'm not totally sure what I'm doing Let me know if you have all the bits and I'll sort something out, cheers!
  22. 22mm should be fine, as long as I can connect normal hosepipe on to one end and at various points along the pipe? The basic idea is to run the solid plastic pipe around the vegetable patch and then have hose coming off at 15 points with lots of holes drilled in the hose so it saturates the soil. Should be a more efficient way of watering the plants and better for them not getting the leaves soaked. Apparently. Cheers Jamesy
  23. Hi all, Got an idea for a little DIY garden irrigation system to help muym Mum out in the garden with the watering (save her struggling with watering cans or hosepipes).. Now I know roughly what I want, but am a little bit confused by the different types of fittings and what does what and goes with what? Basically I need - 30m ~25mm plastic pipe 35m 20mm hosepipe 15x 25x25x20mm 'tees' 1x 25x25x25mm 'tee' 2x 25mm end caps 1x 25mm tap to fit to the above for filling watering cans etc. Anybody advise on what best to use, and where cheapest to get it from? It really doesn't have to be fancy, just cheap and functional. I'll be drilling holes in half of it anyway, to make it water the garden Cheers!
  24. That pad looks fine from the pic, at least twice the thickness of the backing plate??
