  1. New software in development Chris!
  2. Pectel was set up by my boss I'm an embedded software engineer for Pectel, and as it happens, for the last three years most of the software development work on this ECU has been done by me. I don't recall whether it's been used on a supra before, but I suspect it would be quite a bit of effort to run it on the supra engine. Anyone know what the crank/cam pattern is on the supra?

    new free stuff

Ta for the advice. It's quite hard to find decent providers, and I've been lucky to find a one via my old uni. They are a little amateurish though. It doesn't seem possible to find a reliable, well managed service without paying a lot of money (I know you get what you pay for!) I do have my own machines, but really can't be arsed with all the setup and management. I really just want mutt for my emails

    new free stuff

Don't suppose you offer unix shell accounts?
  7. There's loads of threads about this. Here's one of them: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=40207&highlight=headlight+clean I did my headlights yesterday (well only one as I didn't have enough time). There are loads of reports of them not sealing up properly, so I got some sealant that is used to seal windscreens and stuck the headlights back together while hot.
  8. These trucks were on Jeremy Clarkson's Motorworld a long time ago. I think one of them is a house!
  9. Judging by that picture, not the bargain it would have been ten years ago
  10. Has to be....Jet from Gladiators http://www.gladiatorszone.co.uk/_global/images/gallery/uk/female/jet/large_3.jpg

    Drop Da Bomb

    about 12:10pm I think.
  12. Which website is this? The images originally came from here: http://www.ritsumei.ac.jp/~akitaoka/index-e.html It says that most were created by the maker of that site, and there's nothing at all that says that optical illusions are in any way related to stress!

    Drop Da Bomb

Anyone in Cambridgeshire hear the bomb blast today? The unexploded WWII bombs were set off just after midday. I was about four miles away at work and the entire building shook. Though I have to admit I thought someone had just dropped something heavy http://www.cambridge-news.co.uk/news/city/2005/10/07/ae6bb266-0c04-48e6-9ac1-bb5e5b21bd74.lpf
  14. Did you bed the pads in and have you *really* stepped on them hard? I got cw pads and wasn't that impressed (I had Hawk Racing previously which were exceptionally good but noisy), but after several hard stops they improved immensely and felt very good.

    Roll Cage

I believe Paul Whiffin (Whifbitz) can get hold of them.
  16. When you're donutting your BMW, getting out is not always the best idea... http://www.fazed.org/video/view/?id=104
  17. Just because you can, doesn't mean you should
  18. I notice a big difference in throttle response when it's cold. I imagine that's partly because I have an aftermarket cone air filter. The max boost pressure also gets higher in cold weather, so I've turned my boost controller down a couple of times in the last week to keep it at 1.2 bar.
  19. LOL! That's was nothing :p:p:p:p:p:p:p:p
  20. After a couple of drifting days the turbo isn't too healthy, but other than that (and a bit of welding for rust) it's great Fantastic car for hooning around in the wet!
  21. err...I think I bought a 200sx off someone on here
  22. Well I searched on google and didn't find fuel cats, but I found fuel made from cats http://www.dw-world.de/dw/article/0,1564,1713598,00.html
  23. Would do but UK brakes won't fit under my wheels Might try an anthracite colour. Has to be matt I think. I like Monkey's wheels but not the gloss finish. By the way, the polished bit of my alloys was absolutely black and corroded and I assumed they were fit for the bin - but I had a go at them with a scourer and a tub of "barkeepers friend". After polishing with some Autosol, they've come up a million times better
