  2. Maybe I'm wrong, but from my memory of the site you weren't actually asked for your email address.
  3. Based on the fact the sunusb site is down, and the comments here http://digg.com/tech_deals/Free_512MB_USB_Flash_Drive_from_SunUSB_2 i'd say the only effect of filling in the request is likely to be an increase in junk mail.
  4. Sorry, but that's the dumbest thing I've seen in a long time.

    Seatbelts

Are you thinking of seatbelt pretensioners? Don't know about the facelift models, but I'm fairly sure mine doesn't have them.
  6. Stripperella featuring pamela anderson! It was so bad, it was actually good http://casetta.blog.excite.it/img/Stripperella.jpg http://i.timeinc.net/ew/dynamic/imgs/020808/182156__stripperella_l.jpg
  7. Good tunes! any way to get a higher bitrate stream?
  8. Mine came from Whifbitz and are loads nicer than the orange ones on my red car. I really should get the front ones done as well! http://www.whifbitz.co.uk/supra-hid.html
  9. Thanks for the info Jake. I'd like to do the same thing but does it mean you have to transfer money into your Paypal account before using Paypal to buy something? And do you get charged more in the way of fees?
  10. Would a solution be to always empty out your Paypal account as soon as you receive money into it? Or can Paypal take money automatically from your bank account (the one linked to your Paypal account) in the event of a chargeback?

    Mot Test

It would be a shame to lose a couple of brake lights. Having five brake lights is cool The conversion in my car makes one of the existing brake lights glow brighter. For the indication, you just need a rocker switch with a light in it.
  12. Yeah, probably. The usual reason is that the jap model isn't on the MOT emissions database. Whether that's true or not I don't know, but plenty of cars pass with no cats. It only applies to 1993-94 jap cars though.
  13. I was slightly concerned this time, as the MOT guy told me last year that the new computerised system would mean it would need the cats in next year. But I took it to the same place this week. The previous guy had left and the new tester phoned me to say he couldn't get it to pass the emissions test. I just said "put it through on the non-cat test as it's an import" and he said "oh, alright then". easy-peasy
  14. *cheap* white wine here. and it's nasty. only going to buy expensive wine in future. OMG i'm such a snob!
  15. Very interesting subject! I seriously considered going single a while ago. The main thing that put me off was that my supra is an automatic. I thought i'd probably end up upgrading the auto-box to cope with the power, and it still wouldn't be as controllable or as fun as a manual. My car is BPU at 1.2bar and I don't crave any more power for the moment! Instead I bought an Elise which taught me that power (and err.. reliability) isn't everything
  16. I've been with Giganews for a year now, and the service has always been spot on. Well worth the 14 quid/month for unlimited downloads
  17. Don't get me started about ID today! I ordered a Sharp Zaurus PDA from Japan and went down to the DHL depot this morning to pick it up (it was due to be delivered to work on Monday). Anyway, I had some ID, but nothing with my work address. They refused point-blank to give me the parcel, though they said they would have done if I had a photo driving licence (WTF?!) So then I went to Tesco's to get a steak and a bottle of wine for this evening. And the idiot cashier who hardly spoke a word of English said I couldn't buy the wine without ID. Aaaghhhhhh!!!! I'm 28, I don't look particularly young, and I've never been asked for ID before. I called the supervisor over, and she said that she couldn't overrule the system as the cashier had queried the sale and I didn't have proof of age. WHY CAN'T PEOPLE JUST USE SOME COMMON SENSE!!!!!
  18. Yeah, I'm in Cottenham, but go to Ely sports centre with some mates from work. It's not far anyway. You should come along! It's actually quite good fun - once you get over the pain barrier
  19. Hey Mich. Recognised your car once I saw the card I was being subject to the worst torture known to man - one hour of circuit training Think I would have preferred the pub, but I've promised to go every week now!
  20. I drove across there in my Elise last month. Probably the most fun drive I've done! I swear *nothing* could have kept up with me on the twisty bits that day
  21. Found this very old pic of my car with mongoose on. I think that was the day I bought the car!
  22. Carl, my Mongoose exhaust was barely louder than standard, and I don't recall any increase in power when I changed it to a Nur Spec. In fact, you're welcome to make me an offer on it as it's only sitting in my garden shed!
  23. I've not owned that many cars, but my first was a Corsa and my second was a Celica GT. So, in order http://www.compsoc.man.ac.uk/~jamesg/misc/mycars.jpg
  24. I think if you've got your heart set on vents, then you should choose something more productive - such as a kitchen or bathroom.
  25. The url contained a malformed supra.
