1. Don’t want to piss on your parade but that isn’t a replica. It’s a hardtop for one.
2. There is a few more to get tickets Alex West and parents are definitely coming. Working on a few others
3. They have always stated this. Our cookers are gas hobs so that’s ok. The fire pits will probably be ok :/
4. Guys, JAE is still happening. Tickets are still available. Depending on numbers, will depend on how much food we have. Currently in talks with Wile about the kitchen and cooking facilities so depends on what we can get will depend on what food and how much we can keep. So potentially, there will be reduced food available so tickets will be partially, or fully refunded but the event will still take place. Drinks shouldn’t be an issue thanks to Sky Insurance donating £200 to our drinks fund. There will be power and a smaller than usual marquee. I wil be bringing at least 2 beer fridges/under counter fridges. Snacks, cereal and sandwich making items will be available. The PS3 and projector will be there too. We have 15 early entry tickets, which will be free for you, so just let me know if you need one.

7. 2017 WINNERS OF BEST CLUB STAND, TUG OF WAR and IKO Hello all, JAE is confirmed and our plots have been booked and paid for. So everything is a go! Our club insurer, Sky Insurance have graciously donated £200 to our beer fund again. Many thanks to Alex from Sky for sorting that. Club stand ticket only £35 SHOP NOW OPEN TO PURCHASE TICKETS >>> CLICK HERE JAE entry ticket £45 LINK TO PURCHASE JAE ENTRY TICKETS >>>CLICK HERE As before guys and gals, the sooner tickets are purchased, the more I can offer you all. There is a few changes this year. Thursday is now set up only and will require an extra ticket purchasing at a cost of £5. You may not have to cover this, I am working on something. This is something I am fighting and think is massively wrong, but I don’t expect anything to change this year. All the plots have been moved to the other side of the arena, see map below and highlighted in red is our plot. Due to budget cuts, this year I don’t have as much money from the club to play with so I am trying hard to make savings where I can, but I still promise to offer the great entertainment, food and drinks we have all loved previously, which include all food and drinks covered, games, music, fire pits, playstation and plenty of bants. Don’t forget that we won best club stand last year, tug of war and came joint first in the IKO. We could go at it again or just chill out and party, that is all up to you. Any questions please feel free to ask and I will do my best to answer them. Many thanks Al http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/attachment.php?attachmentid=226714&d=1524492638
8. Just a heads up for everyone. I will create a new JAE thread tomorrow as I can’t move the old one from the mods section. JAE will happen. We will have a marquee and power. I will bring a fridge and hopefully we will get the cooking facility sorted. We have some funds from Sky so a few beers/drinks will be available. I will make sure something happens. Tickets are still available in the shop and if we decide that we can’t provide the service like we have before, refunds will be given but the event will still take place regardless. Cheers
9. I have no idea why you even mention about the books or questioning the funding. But here you go. The funding is provided by the members paying for a club stand ticket. That’s currently at £35. So more people attending, equals more money. 6 people attending equals not enough money. Regardless of what the club gives me to spend on the event, it’s primarily funded by the ticket prices. All of the club events are provided by club members buying tickets. Some events get a boost via club funds.
10. We won't be cancelling it, just most likely the club involvement and facilities. The problem was that only 5 people bought a ticket, which severely affects what we can provide and do. The thread had been up for months with regular updates. We already have gas stoves and a BBQ, but we most likely can't get them to the venue. We don't "need" a marquee or electricity, but if we didn't have them, it would be a nightmare. This is why I bought a 3x6m marquee to use for this event. And I'm not sure how many people would be happy to have a fridge plugged into their car for the whole weekend.
11. It's not just the new venue. The prices they charge, dropping the Thursday but charging £5 to enter on Thursday for half a day to set up is a joke. The change of owners. I honestly don't think this JAE would be a success for anyone really. Shame as I really love JAE, well our club stand.
12. The club hasn't backed out exactly, lack of people means lack of funds. A marquee at JAE costs several hundred pounds as we have to use their supplier now for “insurance reasons” and the electricity costs £175 for one plug socket and about £400 for the power we usually require. Then we have food, drink and transport costs for everything that we provide. Our stand has always been the best supplied stand in which the club pays a lot for and we have never made any money on it. In fact the past two years we have been down money which I have put in from my own pocket. If the club doesn't do JAE this year then tickets will be refunded. I am sorry you feel disheartened, I am absolutely gutted running around for a year trying to organise this, book and pay for things and get free prizes and money from Traders and come up with entertainment for everyone. Especially after an amazing JAE last year where we cleaned up on trophies and won Best Club Stand. For some reason this year has been tight on everyone and when only 6 tickets sell, one of which is me, it's a kick in the balls to be honest. If and that is probably a big IF the club does JAE next year, it will likely only be for the plot and everyone who attends can bring their own food, drink, gazebo's and fend for themselves. Which is probably what will happen with this one. I do still plan to attend, I have some things to sort out. I bought a 3mx6m Marquee for us and plan on getting one power socket but I doubt very much there will be any cooking, fridges and brew facilities.
13. It is probably due to costs this year. Everyone is spending less and having to tighten their belts a bit. It has been noticed across the board for events this year, so I wouldn't say the club and events are dying just yet.
14. I have a TRD widebody Aerotop with 6 speed gearbox and 600BHP. Not one single problem, not one single scary moment and you can ask anyone here how I drive and have driven on several DragonBalls and in this country. Actually, there’s plenty of footage. After having owned a hardtop too, I really do not know what people are talking about.
15. It kept losing the radio channels because it didn’t have a live feed into the memory. If you just swap the red and yellows over, so one half red and the other yellow and then one half yellow and the other red. That will fix that problem. Do you have a picture of what is there?
16. Yeah it fit, but my fan is carbon so I like to show that off
17. I have a mishimoto rad. Big single, no shroud and I’ve never had a single problem and it’s been driven hard many many times.
18. He’s moving again?? I went to his open day a few years back
19. Well when it’s closed, surely it would marry up to a post? There’s a few electric gates by me that run the span of the drive way. And I plan to build the same but not electric and have one slide behind the other then both be behind the wall.
20. So couldn’t you get a rolling gate that when open, goes in front of those bushes which is your house??
21. Who owns the land circled in red? Couldn’t you just have a sliding gate that covers the whole length of the drive and it could tuck in on the land on the left?
