  1. I went to see mine today and this is the forth single car I have built and if one thing is consistent it is the spending of vast amounts of money, my car and many others suffers from the need to replace old parts to ensure all bases are covered to handle the new power, it is a list that is way beyond the single kit I hope you get it all sorted on your return IMI, never no I may have mine back by the time you return from Le Mans
  2. I was under the impression mapping should be done on copper core, I remember that conversation when my engine let go last year and mine was being mapped on iridium plugs ??
  3. the more I read this the more I get confused
  4. She must be guilty of something Only joking mate, lucky you
  5. Went to Jezz's place last week to pick up Stonkins old wheels, there are some very poor cars there, you can tell they were once someones pride and joy
  6. I have a set of these and the quality is superb, I have no clue what to do with them as I am allergic to spanners and have managed to avoid the temptation to try BUT they make the documentation on the car seem very complete and can only be a bonus when you come to sell
  7. Thats exactly what I was thinking and 'should' see my new set up (272 cams) spool later but make good power higher in the range ?
  8. Be interesting to see what the 272 cam T67 DBB set up I have will have on the graph when its mapped
  9. I live in Purfleet which according to their web site is right on top of their location on the M25 Jnt 30 and I have never heard of them, I have used TDI in Lakeside a few times, strange how these guys have never cropped up in any conversations, I will go and have a look at the weekend, anyone got the exact address
  10. 19" wheels are only good when not turning , they look great, I have to agree... but ruin the handling, I have switched to 18's now, but after buying and driving a Supra with Stock 17's you realize how much of the feel and control is lost with bigger wheels
  11. Yep, I have a water temp gauge there, a boost gauge in the air vent to the left and an AFR gauge in the right hand air vent near the drivers door, pod seems the only answer now
  12. I need a single gauge pod for a Aquamist hfs-1 system gauge, would like a pillar mount but open to suggestions, need asap
  13. I would be up for a Lakeside meet then over to Toddington
  14. About the best one I have at the moment http://img2.putfile.com/thumb/6/15916230985.jpg
  15. My mate gave me WKD Blue and port mixed at new year, it tastes just like vimto................ I was so so ill the next day
  16. Yes of course , but as I said most members have one
  17. It would have to be fully comp, you can get a policy that covers you for as little as a day, I used one for the Coombe Abbey racing day, I know it would get driven hard, but better than never driven at all
  18. Had an idea for my NA Supra as it is sitting doing nothing while it waits for my GF to pass her driving test It is fully taxed and MOT'd and it is a shame to see it every morning doing nothing, I thought about hiring it out. weekly/monthly to the forum first, but then perhaps that would be pointless as most of us have one already so perhaps in the local paper, I would need to see full insurance cover, but what is the legal situation, can this be done ??
  19. A dream car, I really like it, I have wanted to own a Ferrari for several years now, have test driven a 348 and 355 ( that was all my budget would allow) and was close to buying the 348, but changed my mind at the last minute, I have to say however after seeing them break down in a big way at a recent track day (360 and 430) I would be very worried on how fragile they seem to be, and they are not cheap to fix Guess if you can afford a new Ferrari you dont worry so much about that
  20. I have done the same thing and gone from 19's to 18's. i went for the SA70 Weds, I have a spare set too
