  1. 900 people on the M25 at 40MPH, thats better than a normal Saturday !
  2. That looks like it could go very wrong very quickly
  3. Collecting my car from Watford tomorrow, better not get stuck in this, with the price of oil hitting $140 today its unlikely to have any effect at all except to ruin thousands of peoples weekend stuck in traffic
  4. Got one on the way, cheers for the offers
  5. I am going down there next week also, mini meet
  6. I am just glad you are getting your Supra to AFR, should not be long before its sorted now and you get to use it
  7. Good grief Take a look here http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SUPRA-MKIV-93-98-SPARK-PLUG-COVER-CARBON_W0QQitemZ330230387005QQcmdZViewItem?_trksid=p3286.m20.l1116 £150 for the cheapest Ebay job, how can you expect anyone on here to sell one for £20
  8. logs in and waits for the 'I'm back' post on the Vauxhall owners club web site
  9. Oh dear, seems my futile effort to save you from yourself and the hunting pack was wasted ok guys... hes all yours
  10. If you read your own post and click BPU it tells you all the things you need and all the nice haves as well
  11. I just watch new members get their pride hurt sometimes when they get something wrong and the banter ends up driving them away before they have their feet under the table, we must have lost some good people from the club this way, not all take the advice on board however so we shall see
  12. Hi mate, you are not ever going to win these 'discussions' so let it go would be my advise, they just become a magnet for posters to have a go at being funny (me included ) At the end of the day its your car and you do with it what you like end of....... but and there is a but, if you come on here asking advise on a modification that involves in your case something as crude as drilling holes in the stock air box you will catch a bit of stick, this should just be taken on board and you should move on to the next question, dont fight it, there is no point and you will only end up getting wound up buy the banter I would look in the for sale section as induction kits come up all the time, and you will find £100 will get you a mint second hand kit for the NA, job done
  13. I would go into a high st travel agent, look for a young sales person and tell them exactly what you told us, and they will point you in the right direction, many of them have actual experience of these resorts you seek, it wont be cheap booking those weeks this late however I went on a 'Club' holiday with some mates several years ago to Falaraki, we still talk about that holiday now over a pint of bitter in the local in our slippers
  14. LOL, the poor old NA goes into Pheonix for a full service Saturday, and I have just come back from picking up a set of stock alloys from Supragirlie (thanks again) in it for a set of Mickey T's drag tyres for the single
  15. I test drove a 348 last year as I had planned to treat myself after a messy divorce, the noise is fantastic and they are a good price now, I was a bit disappointed in the power but you know that already Mark at Phoenix tells me it would have been a bad choice as they have a bad reliability record and break down A LOT, however the difference is you know what you are doing with a spanner so it should not be an issue They hold their value very well so if you dont like it you sell it and loose nothing
  16. I am taking my car for this service, I will be getting some very nice pictures as well as we all know Tom's skills with a camera http://fullboostdetail.moonfruit.com/#/services/4527214083
  17. Grim IMO I would not see that worth more than 3K
  18. My air con compressor is noisy, it sounds like a bearing is on the way out, does anyone have a very good unit lying around, cash waiting ??
  19. Car now base mapped (thanks RyanG), MOT'd, taxed and running very well indeed! Picking up Saturday morning then 1000 miles of run in to do before water injection is connected and the NOS tapped in then the mapping starts Car will also be going in Monday for a full paint detail as it has been in the garage for 11 months !, pictures will follow that process through
  20. Maybe a set of yellow billies and springs for £40
  21. He wants $79 to ship to US, I bet the worldwide price is closer to $150 then you have the import tax to add to that, I would stick with NIC
  22. same here, I never brought them ......yet
