  1. I almost went for the GT4088 when I saw Private piles car on the dyno, very impressive spool and power curve but it does seem too fragile for consistent hard use I would avoid the T04R, I have just moved away from this turbo, its a bit dated now, I would consider the T67 DBB or T04Z
  2. 6 months, thats nothing 11 months since mine did anything except cost me money
  3. Was it Lost Valley of the Dinosars ?? http://www.boardgamegeek.com/thread/304180
  4. I have yet to see a quick shift that is just that on a stock 6 speed box, the Getrag is cluncky at the best of times and if anything a longer gear stick helps with changes IMO, I would go back to stock
  5. Navel engine from a minesweeper/fast attack boat
  6. Yes the boot is stripped now so will do the entire area, will stick with carpet spray glue I think and any areas where I need access I will leave either open or unglued I have had a kind forum member who has someone in his family who does retrims offer their services for a perfect fit
  7. No, they dont offer this anymore to new customers They offered 18K max payout which is Ok (never going to get my money back on the spend anyway !)
  8. That looks like a car I would go and see and offer 1750, very well looked after from the pics, bit of a worry is the stains on the seat, perhaps he scared himself
  9. I have seen some bargains, (and brought a couple:innocent:) but I have seen some real rubbish as well, the thing is the price between to two right now is not that much
  10. I had the keys taken from my house while I was asleep a couple of years ago, they took nothing else but the Do luck kitted T78 single Supra, never to be seen again
  11. Yep, the pink one with targa and black leather was mine, as is still my favourite.......... goes off to add another splash of Brut and undo another shirt button
  12. Turbo maybe, never driven one but they had an awesome reputation, the 3.2 is no turbo however They do have a smooth power delivery and drive very well, they are a bit of a handfull in the wet, good starting point for my TT rear wheel drive training
  13. The TT would win easy My 911 3.2 was not very quick at all
  14. Its RHD I think Yes RHD, too far for me to go on this one but would make a great runaround
  15. If you have limited funds and dont want to get yourself in too deep I would not be thinking of going to a single set up, I would look for a set of replacment hybrids or stock twins IMO
  16. Not mine but I have owned a couple of Porsches in the past including a 1987 911 Targa, really like this old shape and this one is quite a good price ? http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/521244.htm
  17. Would they be an easy retro fit to a rear set up or just overkill, I have the Ap 6 pots up front but still have J spec rears
  18. Once mine is mapped and running it will be in high boost most of the time (when dry), because there is nothing worse than some chancer coming out of knowhere to take you on and you find yourself on a 1 bar setting
  19. Big thanks to Luke at Sky for his work on my new quotation, they have managed to come £500+ under my previous best quote from Direct line who I have been with for some time, they have quoted me like for like mods (and the list is very long) and only a small excess, all with protected NCB, top job guys
  20. Great spec car, big power and fantastic strong lines, love it Bet its not cheap though
  21. Top glove box I have them in heater vents also as well as clock position
  22. Good grief I loved the look of that car, was the reason I brought Gamers SA70 wheels !, wonder if he has the rears undamaged for spares
  23. I would leave it, you have already said its a PITA and you will be spending money you dont have, unless it feels really poor grip I would wait and change them together when you can afford it
