  1. Hey Chris, Sounds about the right timings for it being me. Sorry if I didn't notice you, I'm normally half asleep on my way into work. If the Sup had white wheels though and a bodykit then you've spotted Paddy and Samantha. Have you got your name down for the NEM Show yet? If not get it down, its gonna be a good one. Dave
  2. Aye mate that does sound like it would have been me, If I was bright red in the face then I must have been on my way home from the gym. Were you in your Sup? its rare for me not to notice and wave like a fanny!
  3. Well folks, my place may be as good as garanteed, but I've just got the schedules in for our offshore survey work and it looks like I'll be out on a boat in the North Sea from the 20th of May for around 4 weeks If you keep me in as a maybe please and I'll see what happens. These things always slip and change about a little. Was really looking forward to this one....bugger!
  4. The more the merrier. Its actually really nice to have another green car to compare mine against. Two totally different beasts!
  5. Secretly annoyed Marc??? There no secret, I'm bloody outraged It was the only special feature my car had. It's a good excuse to spend some money on her this year to make her individual again.

    Hiya, Im new!

Hiya and welcome to the club. Paddy did mention you guys had joined, look forward to seeing you both at the next meet. The car was lookin nice last night (check the pics in the 'spotted' section) Dave
  7. As most of the Aberdeen crew know I've had our only green Supra for a while now. Recently folks have been spotting another one. We'd guessed it was from further south (Edinburgh) and we were right. I spotted the car in the Asda at the beach tonight so had to go in and see if they were a member (and get a cheeky look of course). The owner Paddy seems like a nice bloke and hasn't had the car that long. He is from down Edinburgh way and is working up here at the moment. He told me he'd bought the car from Calder and by the sounds of it is still enjoying getting used to it. The one time I could hand out a club card and I didn't have any with me Doh I told him about the NEMS meet and he seemed pretty keen to meet some other owners so if you see him give him a wave. Had to take a couple wee pics too(apologies for the camera phone pics).
  8. God, How behind the times am I! Congrats on the young'en guys, have you broken the news to Eve yet that you can't actually get baby seats for ferrari's???? This could be a very good show indeed. I just washed my car and its nice seeing her clean again, only problem is now I can see all the dents where STUPID people have opened their doors onto her. Dave P.s. Oh do any of you guys know of any good bodyshops down in Cornwall???
  9. God I wish I had more cash spare to get the Supra back up to scratch for this. Just looking down the list we have so far, there are way too many nice and different examples of the car to choose from. I think it may be a 'names out of the hat' job come the day of the show. Looking forward to this already!
  10. Was this not the one that Calder were selling? If I remember correctly it was a twin with white wheels and some new bodywork to it. Can't have another green one in town, it'll bring the value of mine right down
  11. Hey Folks, I've been quiet (me not the car) for too long so you can definately add my name to the list. Should be a good one. Dave
  12. Hey, Yeah some great pics in there. How do you do the photos to make the cars look like they're models? Very cool indeed! Dave
  13. Alright guys, Bit pissed off as I've just realised I've got a coursework hand in date of the 15th Dec instead of January like I thought. Gonna have to cancel unless I can get it out of the way before Sunday. I saw your post about the Arbroath thing too Marc and I really fancy getting down to that too. Having lived down there I know a few of the guys so it would have been good to catch up. Hope you guys all have a great day! Dave
  14. Yup, count me in! 1. marcAB10 2. monsween (usuall - if im onshore haha) 3. TTRickeh 4. Greenauto
  15. I'm working for CAN Offshore Ltd. at the moment on the Talisman project. I'm a pipelines Engineer so my offshore time amounts to being a rep on our tours and just making sure everythin runs to schedule. Was a bloody long last trip so I'm glad I'm back on now, can't complain though everyones looking forward to good pressies this chirstmas Lol. What do you do offshore with Schlumberger?
  16. Sunday mini meet sounds pretty good to me. Sorry to hear the NA-TT isn't going as quickly as you'd hoped. I guess thats the thing when you're pulling bits together from different places, just gotta wait till they are all gathered. Should be superb once its done though, you'll have the go to match the show. Have to see who's up for it, but I'm back onshore now till next summer I reckon so shouldn't be a problem. Dave
  17. Yup thats me, like I say there are a number of owners in the deen now that I've not met. Rest assured if I see another owner I always wave. If I'm out next time you go past just stop, I'm always happy to chat about Supras, and any other Jap car in fact. Whens the next meet Marc? only 5 weeks to go till Chrimbo! Dave
  18. Woohoooo! Finally I got spotted, and just after I'd washed her too. I've not been to any of the meets this year since knockhill so that's probably why we've not met. Cheers for the acknowledgement though mate and I'll look forward to getting a closer look at your Sup next time. Dave P.s. thought the club stickers in the windows were a giveaway?
  19. Yup, I've seen this one too, on Union street and on my way back from the gym when I go past the Bully! Although the Veilside kits not to everyones taste it definately stands out in black and makes the car look V menacing. His always seems to be pretty clean too I've noticed. God, how many black Sup's do we have up here now? (not that its a bad thing, makes mine stand out more )

  21. Thought it might have been me you'd seen Marc, the car is so dirty with me being offshore for the past four weeks it looks almost matt black. I was home for Monday and Tuesday but I'm offshore again for another two weeks to finish up our work before the worse weather kicks up. Good to meet you Chris, nice to see a stock UK spec up in our neck of the woods. I'd be up for a more regular meet, might even make it to a few, I've missed most of them so far this year. Any further with the conversion Marc?
  22. Happy Birthday Keith! Hows the extension coming along mate?
  23. Alright mate, Is the grab handle still up for grabs (pardon the pun) along with the fixing clips and screws? Also if they're stock, have you got the door cards? Pm me with prices if they're still available. Cheers Dave
