  1. Was reading a post on here and one of the other members has just had theirs done in a lovely looking black gloss paint and high laquer finish. Looks the dogs. I'd like to see one of these kits inperson as it seems an easier option than getting my dash sprayed but if the finish is gonna look crap then spraying it is.
  2. Aye mines got private plates! Good to know there's at least three of us in Arbroath now. Supra Dan is still waitin to get his back from the body shop. Should be nice to see the three cars together. Bet your lookin forward to gettin back in a Supra. Only had mine a week and it already feels like I'll never want to drive anything else. What plans you got for yours?
  3. Would probably have been me mate. Although one of my work mates reckoned they'd seen another Green Supra in the town. would have been me and him in the car. Have a check in my garage there's a few pics of her in there. She's now sporting the pre-requisite mkivsupra club stickers. Were you in your Supra at the time?
  4. The blend of kit looks really nice on your car mate! Nice wheels aswell, they look familiar ;) If I decide to go kitted that's the combo for me. Dave
  5. Voted! She's a stunner. Must say though I've got 'feelings' for Nicole L with her crazy golf pose/photoshoot.
  6. Sorry to hear that mate. Feel for you and the family!
  7. Cool! I actually work for Continental Alloys supplying you guys your material. We're up in the top floor. You'll probably know John Watson? No offence but I really liked the Astra's until they became quite so popular. Still a nice car though! Look forward to seein your Supra with her new kit on. Have you been doin most of the work yourself or is she away gettin worked on? If your ever up near the top floor just pop in and say hi! Cheers Dave
  8. It most certainly was! haha if you've seen the car there's a good chance you've seen me rolling/falling out of it. I have a feeling its gonna take a while for me to make it look graceful Lol. So do you work for Halli's? I know I used to see a black Sup in the car park with a veilside kit on? Speaking of seeing Sup's I saw a black one last night behind me in the middle of Arbroath. I turned off though to head to Carnoustie so didn't get a proper look. Wonder if it was a member. what you drivin at the moment till you get the Supra back?
  9. Still Smiling Dan! Got some pics up now in my garage if anyone wants to take a wee look. Dave
  10. Has anyone seen Tenacious D " the pick of destiny" This monster reminds me of the Magic mushrooms scene. Just waiting for Sasquach to climb out of the boot Lol. The mods look 'ok' but why didn't they stick with a nice standard colour. Maybe Green?
  11. Might take a wee bit longer than that! Must admit I have test driven N/A's and TT's but taken it easy on them because it was someone elses car. Had a little look at how many leptons I could comfortably manage on the way home and it was bloody loads Lol! If the N/A is this fast I can see me upgrading to a TT in a couple years.. The Veccy was the right car for me at the right time but I'm glad times change. The Sup is gonna be so much fun. Still can't believe I'm driving my dream. Dave
  12. Wooooohhoooooooo! Just drove back from picking up the Supra! Oh my god how nice she is to drive! Was a bit worried about how well I'd manage with the auto having never driven one but it all seems pretty straight forward and I'm already getting the hang. I'll try getting some pics up of her the morn. Dave
  13. Hi Razza, I used to be a dab hand at the old photoshop but sadly I'm out of practice now. I'm thinking of the same lighting conversion and as you know, my cars green too so I'll be interested to see what you get. Make sure you post up pics once its done too. As for the aerial anything is gonna be better than the cb one poking out of there. As if having one great big aerial wasn't enough Lol. Wonder what the thinking was behind usin the CB? evading the cops???
  14. Hi Ian, welcome to the site! I'm from Arbroath but my girlfriend is from your neck of the woods. Kirkcaldy. Rest assured if I see ya I'll give you a wave! I'll be the one taking it easy. I think its a bigger jump for me movin up from a vectra than for you movin up from a 5. Enjoy the site!
  15. Fantastic! Have to say though.. I was waiting for the theme music to come on and for it to decend down into the top of an extinct volcano Does look a bit expensive for me to buy just to smash into the ground! Lol
  16. Isn't it just, How old does the car have to be out of interest? As stated above it really doesn't matter to me the age of the car cause I've wanted one for such a long time and it seems to be one of the most bomb proof performance motors for the money! We'll see if I'm still saying that in 6 months time but I hope so.
  17. Like many of you on here the Supra was my childhood dream car. First time I saw one I knew I had to have one, she will be mine oh yes! she will be mine... Things have been goin pretty good recently and I'm now able to get one. So a couple weeks back me and the girlfriend went along to have a looky at a few. Almost straight away I had chosen my car but had a great time testing the Sup's on offer. We got back up north late that night, dropped off the missus and I headed home still buzzin from the purchase. Only the wait to contend with now.... Sitting in the living room watching the TV this weekend past. Girlfriends 14 year old son starts asking me about the car. It's obvious that his mum has told him a bit about it already. So I explain that its an NA and what that means. He still seems impressed even though its not a twin. Go on to tell him about the car. About five minutes into the conversation he asks how old it is. Now I know its an old car at 95 but what he said next took my aback. 'So its an Antique' he blurts out! Haha just about wet myself. He quickly corrects himself and says Classic. CLASSIC!
