that's almost EXACTLY the same back at my parents house (also known as my storage-shed lol) I've got a huge Spitfire sitting there, all finished ready to go with a big petrol engine in it, and a 8-foot wingspan surveilance plane (has camera mounted to bottom - dad bought this to train with!) but I don't think either will ever get flown - we'd be absolutely GUTTED if they came back in 100's of bits I blame you entirely for my retake on this hobby mate! I've spent about £80/90 on parts for my belt-cp and it's not even been in the air for 20 seconds yet! (mainly skimming on the floor all over the place) I want to get it 100% fixed, and then try again with MORE SPACE... if things go wrong this time then I may just cry LOL

lol - I'm never quite sure why everyone loves airwolf so much.. give me an Apache, Hughes 500 or scale warbird anyday
  3. Happy Birthday! Have a great day, what's left of it
  4. Yeh, saw it in Banzai as well. Looks like a nicely finished car. Not to everyone's taste, but I think it's quite nice. But a lot of dosh.

Right well I'm pretty gutted now Bent feathering shaft, another blade broken, dead servo and broken training gear. Oh, and main gear has some knackered teeth. Got loads of spares coming from HK - but not servo, training gear, or main gear dammit! This is gonna be expensive..... maybe I should quit now, and get something a bit more robust.... It was only a small crash! about 1/2 foot in the air, blades hit ground first..
  6. well maybe he is starting a trend - if every Supra was on sale for a similar figure, that'd surely a) keep the ch*vs from owning them b) make all current Supra owners rich and c) the Supra would be much rarer on the road Dunno why I'm saying all of the above though... I'm still yet to buy one and want one as cheap as possible
  7. http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/330037.htm Perhaps a slightly optimistic price..... Not quite so much of a "bargain" in my opinion lol
  8. yeh man! Blues Brothers was great... Double Dragon Street Fighter Frogger/Toado/whatever Pong Micro Machines on the Amiga was great multiplayer - 4 people around 1 keyboard hehe!
  9. JonnyKnox - had the first picture as my windows background for ages now - love it Kens is fantastic - and come to think of it that Candy one aint bad either!

    911 Crushed!!

But you subject the pain on me.... although I suppose technically it was MY choice to click on the link... dammit
  12. hmmm. I don't get the joke.... if he's not interested in forums or is on the forum, then he wouldn't see the thread... so the joke wouldn't really work would it???

    911 Crushed!!

why.... why..... WHY!?!?!?! Why would someone do that? And Why would you post that on a car-loving forum!!!!?!?!
  16. I feel it a necessity to live up to my standard forum user title/profile tag......
  17. EDIT: Dammit jamesmark...! lol Well it does appear that not everyone saw that other thread, so I'm happy knowing I've bought it up

Non-turbo for £9k.... in that state? Surely not!?! EDIT: my taste is not that particular bodykit - no offence meant to anyone that has one!
  19. seems like a very decent bloke really - which is more than i can say for some of the other "celebrities".
  20. I see why you can't decide mate - BOTH look really nice! I think the 18's win it for me though - I do like the look, but the added bonus of being smaller (and probably lighter) plus the cheaper tyres......
  21. Rear projection? I'd not give them a thump, as I thought they had bulbs in similar to a front projection.... expensive stuff..... I had a problem with my old tv whereby the whole image was in 1 line across the screen, I found it to be a dry joint on one of the IC's on the board. I'm racking my brain as to which IC.... but the only one I can think of is the chroma IC and that's colour, not picture..... Be careful if you do attempt anything though - some VERY large voltages inside TV's, steer clear of any capacitors!
  22. Mate, that car looks absolutely awesome! Well done with your hard work getting it to that stage, and hopefully you can sell it for what you want for it - don't let it go cheap! I so wish I was in a buying position now....

Damn - unlucky mate... I've flown outside again today - well I say flown but I mean hovered about 2cm about the ground lol.... Gave the sofa away today too, so front room is virtually empty - had the heli skimming its way over the laminate flooring until the battery ran out - still no real flying but nevermind! I've broken one of the supports to the horizontal tail fin - need to find the part number for a replacement...
