  1. I'd go with interference from CB radio, police/emergency services, or perhaps a radio station being picked up? If you can identify what is being said, why not get a radio and scan to see if you can find a channel playing the same thing?
  2. and definately no fuel leak(s) anywhere?
  3. well I've got a fixed mortage, so the drop doesn't affect me. But with that said, the fixed mortgage offers from same lender have stayed the same as they don't seem to have dropped their rates by much. I don't care what happens, so long as it picks up by the time I come to sell the house and get a bigger one
  4. well done mate - had a feeling it'd be a dry joint!
  5. I use the Buffalo Linkstation - mine is quite old now so it's only 120GB and an older version, I believe they do a "pro" now. Never let me down, built in USB print server which works quite well, looks quite nice too.
  6. thanks for the input guys - I'm just gonna have to lump it and see what happens I think.... Damn these setbacks

    RC Helicopters

I've finally had some of my replacement parts turn up for my heli - and I replaced one of the damaged servos with a towerpro sg90 - but when I realised how much better this servo was over the stock model, I replaced all 4 of them with the other spares I bought - SOOOO much better! Just a few more bits to turn up now and I'll have a heli ready to fly again , or should that be crash??? lol

    RC Helicopters

If you want impressive with an electric heli - try this! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p8t41avFuCc Saw this video ages ago - can't believe he's flying it!
  9. Well done mate, that's a great achievement! I'm trying to shape up at the moment (ever since the people at the gym actually used the word "fat" to describe me - far from the truth) but it takes a lot of will power and physical effort than you'd imagine! Well done!
  10. We were running across london due to a section of the tube being closed - it is very funny looking back at it, but at the time I think we nearly died of exhaustion!

    MR2 or FTO

mate, don't bother with the FTO - please don't. Although we've had nothing major wrong with ours (by ours I mean my parents) I hear horror stories from lots of close mates/owners, and they're not all they are made up to be. Mr2 - much better car IMO.
  12. do you not remember what happened last time??? lol We tried the whole train route - got to london, missed out onward bus journey, then had to go home and drive up the following day! lol......
  13. cool, about what I can remember from Lukes import he got from you. Only trouble is it's about 350 miles from me to you! it's a long walk without a car HAHA
  14. good point ref xmas mate, didn't think of that as well. I just blamed the weather and people not wanting to drive a supra/fast car, and so selling it.
  15. Jurgen - roughly how long does it take you to import a supra... it's around 3 months, right? (private import) Because if I've got enough money come March/April for a deposit, I could then get you to bring me one just in time
  16. It's interesting as I see lots of threads/posts saying that the seller should wait until the summer (ok mainly aerotop sales) because they demand more money - but if it meant keeping a car for another 6months for only a few hundred it'd hardly be worth it. Of course I want to pick up a nice one as cheap as possible (don't we all) so hopefully a budget of around 11k will get me one
  17. thanks. But is it a BIG / noticable difference? I mean, are we talking a few hundred notes, or a couple of grand? I know it's a hard question to answer - as there is no real science and it depends on the seller etc, but I'm currently seeing pretty good TT's being sold for around 8-9k, and I want to know if a similar car in the summer is going to be much more or not.
  18. Hey all, Got yet another set back on the Supra purchase fund, so my potential ownership will be delayed until the Summer. I'm planning on purchasing around May/June time now. I know prices of the Aerotops will be affected, but do you think the hardtop supra prices will increase a lot due to the better weather? Or is this just a misconception, and prices will remain the same, or decrease due to having yet more imported etc. Thanks
  19. Personally, You want 1080p for anything 37/40 and above. The quality (when you actually use it with a proper HD input) is AMAZING. If you think that 1080p is the end of it though, think again: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/7205338.stm I quote:
  20. well the missus has photos of me measuring the garage of the house we eventually bought! lol..... no idea why she took them - probably to show people that I'm mad!!!!
  21. yeh, agreed. It's not good. But all we can do is p*ss and moan about it all day long - nothing will ever get done about it unless we all revolt or something....
  22. ah that's good news then. I have carpet stuck to the pillar in particular, but could extend this to cover more of the wall if necessary. I'm also toying with the idea of putting one of those rounded mirrors in the top left corner of the garage, so I can see how close to the walls I am when parking. Not that I'm sh*t at parking or anything (lol) but with a car as big as the Supra I'd want to make sure it wasn't too close!
