    Manual Aero Top

Changing body shell is a MUCH bigger job. I really want an Aero GZ (TT) but it'll be auto - and then a 3.5k conversion to manual on top.
  2. Depends on how your event viewer is set - if it hits it's max log size (I think this is 512kb?) then it'll stop recording. You can set it to overwrite old entries and constantly log, etc. Right click the event log you want and select properties - in there you'll be able to adjust! Mine is set to overwrite entries older than 7days.
  3. I can vouch for this machine - very good and very quick!
  4. I know I'd be interested in this car if I could sell my leon.... but I expect this will be long gone before I get to the stage to buy

    RC Helicopters

I have prevailed!!!!! YAY! Weather today is fantastic for flying - get out there while you've got the chance! I've been hovering, almost totally in my control (when it's not I land and bring it back closer to me) and I've got 10mins worth of actual flying now, with NO damage whatsoever!!!!! wooo! Addictive hobby this - next on my list is inverted flying!! (lol - kidding!)
  6. I think the price was discussed in this thread: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=140271 I think it's cheap too!
  7. Seen this in the flesh and well worth the money - Sounds great too! Good luck with the sale fella
  8. Bump for the weekend krew Don't forget I'm willing to swap my car + cash for your Supra TT (preferably manual, but will consider auto's depending on price)

    RC Helicopters

I WILL prevail lol Yes - deffo agree on #1 - I just need to learn HOW to set it up properly... #2 - no idea, as I've never flown one - but happy in my decision to go with the Belt-CP. I'm going out into a much bigger grassy area this weekend - garage is too small and I'm too frightened to hit anything. At least when I'm outside I can get some height on the heli, and not worry about drifting into a wall!

    cannot wait

On the same note, I can't wait because I may actually get to meet some of you Supra owners this year, get to some shows and stuff Hey - I'm not going to complain if the cars this year are even better - gives me something to aim for!!

    RC Helicopters

Got it back together this week, after some major hassle - and tonight I was FLYING in the garage!!! Ok, maybe only 12 inches off the floor, but it was under control (just about!) My first successful trip with no accidents or damage - game on!

    RC Boats

Well the only RC boat I have is a single electric motor jobbie - basically it's a cat-style boat. Goes quite fast because of the small contact area with the water - when the nose lifts up in the air it bounces over ripples a LOT! But there's much better models out there - I love scale models - some warships actually have a pump to shoot water out of the cannons - it's wicked!
  13. I can't seem to adjust the asking price on the initial post bit - can a mod do this? If not no worries. Thanks
  14. I'm sure you've already thought about it - but it's not just petrol that will cost you money - you'll have the usual wear and tear, tyres, maintainance etc, but this will all cost more on the Supra I expect. Obviously the mpg on the TT is not going to be as good as either of your cars.
  15. Had a couple of enquiries about selling the car without some of the bits (ie stereo) and this is a possibility. Price has dropped to £5800ono as I have decided I would like a quicker sale - money is needed to fund a couple of problems with our house.
  16. I'd love your supra, but no way I could afford it
  17. I have done some research and valuations, so adjusted the price slightly. WAS £6200 ono. NOW £6000 ono.
  18. For Sale - Pabs’ 2003 (52) SEAT Leon Cupra, Platinum Grey Metallic I’m not going to beat about the bush; it’s about time to sell my Leon. It just sits in the garage now as I get the bus to work because it’s too expensive to park in town. This thread is a bit of a feeler really, as I have no idea if anyone is interested or not. Currently the car is not advertised anywhere other than here and the SEAT forum I'm on. The car has covered approx. 98500 miles (90% motorway driving for my commute to work) and the full specification is below. The car has ALWAYS been run on 97ron fuel or above. This car has never let me down, and is always garaged. This Cupra has the added benefits of the following: •MY03 Facelift Leon Cupra bodykit •Full SEAT Leather interior, & electric front seats •SEAT Leather front armrest •Electric Heated/Folding Wing mirrors If you buy this car, you will get the car as seen, with EVERYTHING in the specification. This includes the full stereo system (including Auto-Acoustics sub box that is worth £200!) and handsfree kit. You will also get: •Every single receipt that I’ve ever had for the car, and I’ll even chuck in the box file that I keep it all in! •A basic VAG-COM cable. •Original parts (such as old gearbox shifter, A-pillar cover etc •All paperwork associated with the car. I have RR printouts to prove that this car can produce consistent results of around 220bhp in its current spec. Price: Offers around £5700. Lots more pictures (although not recent) and info can be found on my website: www.leoncupra.co.uk Please contact me by email if you are interested: [email protected]. Alternatively if you use PM then you can send me a message. Thanks. EDIT: I am also open to the idea of a part-ex for a Manual Supra TT - I'd expect to have to pay YOU a bit plus my car, but still a possibility. Good points •Full Service History (regular services and work carried out by JKM) •Economy is good – I’m seeing on average around 34mpg •MOT until Feb 2009 •Tax until Sept 2008 •GSD3 tyres all in good shape, with plenty of tread left. Bad points •Paintwork at front end is a bit battered from the usual stone-chips that you’d expect on a car that has covered this sort of mileage •Alloy wheels could do with a refurb although they are not that bad (see pics) •Few minor dings/dents/scratches here and there, but nothing major •No fog lights at front – but these can be purchased for around £58 Inc p&p. (Can provide link to website/company if reqd.) •VERY slight oil leak from sump gasket – been told this is VERY minimal and not to expensive to sort out. Engine and Transmission •1.8 20-valve 4 cylinder with std K03s Turbo •Revo Technik Stage 2 remap with SPS3 unit •Forge Motorsport Front Mounted Intercooler •6-speed gearbox with EIP shortshifter •Smoothed Standard Airbox with K&N Panel •Forge Motorsport FMCL007P polished dump valve •Milltek Ultra 200 Cell Downpipe and Sports Cat •Supersprint cat-back exhaust system •Bosch 4-bar fuel pressure regulator •5-part 4awg grounding kit •Motul 8100 0w-30 Engine Oil •Samco 4-piece Boost Hose Kit in Black •NGK Platinum Laser PFR6Q Spark Plugs Wheels, Suspension and Brakes •Koni FSD Shocks with Eibach Springs - 20mm lowering •H&R Anti Roll Bar Kit - 26mm Front Bar, 22mm Rear Bar •Pagid FR Brake Pads with Wear Sensor •ATE Grooved Powerdisc Brake Discs •Standard brake calipers (Painted) •Replica Audi RS6 18" Alloy Wheels •Goodyear GSD3 tyres all round •Audi S3 lower front strut brace •Custom Front Upper Strut Brace •Motul RBF 600 FactoryLine Dot 4 Racing Brake fluid Styling & Accessories •Skoda Fabia rear wiper •Audi TT aluminium pedal covers and Custom Dead Pedal •Seat Leon Sport Ali/Leather gearknob •VW Passat W8 interior light unit •Autometer 30psi boost/vac gauge •Nomad single A pillar pod •Seat folding centre armrest •Seat bonnet seal •Debadged boot •VW Golf sunglasses holder •Polished Inlet Manifold •Halfords Super-Brilliant Bright Main beam, Philips dipped and sidelight bulbs •Seat chrome centre grille •Seat Leon fitted car mats •Seat Aluminium door pins •Honda Civic Stubby Aerial •Golf Mk4 tinted/heated wing mirror glass •SCN etched window stickers •Cupra R Front Splitter on Cupra Bumper In Car Entertainment system •Pioneer 6700MP MP3 Headunit 4x50W •Infinity Reference 7520A 520W 2 Channel Amplifier •Auto Acoustics Stealthbox with 10" 350W Black Chrome Subwoofer •Parrot CK3100 Bluetooth Advanced Handsfree Kit Security •Drivers Door Delocked & Fuse 38 Relocated •Thatcham Cat 1 Alarm System •Locking Wheel Nuts Pics: Now removed.
  19. Tis ok mate - I understand. I think it's just because I've spent so much money modifying it (remap, FPR, exhaust, FMIC etc etc) and she's not used to the 3x power increase from her current car
  20. Not good mate, especially as you say, with the timing. I ALWAYS go through a pre-MOT check over of the car a week or so beforehand, and if I spot anything try to get it sorted there and then. Get new tyres and stuff. It'll be ok mate - sounds like you've got it in hand anyway.
  21. Well I've got to lend my car to the missus this week, and similar situation - it only gets driven at weekends now so couldn't really refuse. She'll be going from a 1.3 yaris with about 76 odd bhp to my Leon with 220bhp... I'm a little nervous to say the least, but I suppose it'll be ok!
