My power steering has suddenly started making a grinding noise, I've had it before on another car (but worse) when a hose split and drained the fluid. So I checked the fluid and the levels appear fine although the fluid is a dark colour. Could it be that the fluid is old and needs flushing or is it more likely my pump is knackered? I've had a look at this page on here and read the guide to flush the system which I'll try this weekend

As Scooter said, other sites that sell cars. I'd exercise caution if looking at cars in High Wycombe, Sutton and Keighley (places in the UK), there are some traders there that we cant talk about on this forum because of the threat of legal action (which should tell you all you need to know!)

Shell V Power? What's your budget as that would help gauge what mods are out there for you? I noticed a difference in performance when I stripped the interior of my NA if you're after cheap gains

Given their age you have to expect a few issues, I've had to replace a few things on mine as they have perished with age, seals etc - the cost of these soon mount up! If you do buy from the UK be sure to post up on here first if it is away from the forum as there are a few dodgy areas to buy Supras from - personally I wouldn't buy away from the forum for a number of reasons Or clocked!

But how much will modified be over stock? There's no way I'd be able to keep mine stock and it will end up as a manual as soon as I can slip enough money past the missus

Well kept examples have gone for £14-15k recently, of course pictures will help Be careful if you remove the wrap, I had to get a full respray after removing mine as I found cuts/scores in the paint and removed the lacquer/paint in places! (put your price up so it increases the value of other aeros)

Seeing as they've come up in another post, avoid cars in Keighley too! I would check that quote is for an import Supra and not a UK spec which is cheaper to insure. Unless it's a classic or restrictive policy £650 seems a little cheap for a 24 y/o, mine is only a little cheaper than that at 32 with 10+ years NCB

They also look different too, I had the turbo version on my NA and TT so I can confirm it fits both engines. I assume the NA version makes the exhaust note a little quieter Turbo NA As it goes, I have the turbo version with bung that I need to clean up and sell if anyone is interested in it?
