  1. I remember looking forward to being 25 for the insurance 'discount'... It doesn't happen, especially not with these cars
  2. Looks great, wish I got my pics in in time. Will be buying one as soon as they're available
  3. What's the difference between facelift and pre facelift skirts?
  4. The carbon dash looks cool, but I guess it wouldn't be so practical for the road with glare
  5. That's where I saw it too. I think this is the one from before, but it's a proper jumper - a Christmas jumper must be knitted https://teespring.com/uglysupra ipad won't cooperate loading the pictures
  6. Saw this on an FB page and remember seeing on here a few years ago about the Supra Christmas jumper. I can't find the original thread on it, I'm sure JB had the rights to produce them? I'd be in for a knitted version of this https://www.facebook.com/brilliantneon/posts/552912518190272:0
  7. Head turner for the wrong reasons! Loving the blocked roof scoop too...
  8. The seals have gone on my turbos so it is time to repair or upgrade. If I'm sorting the turbos it would be nice to get some more power from them, I don't have the cash to go single so what options are available and at what costs? Options I can think of are; Replace seals, no HP increase - cost? Swap turbos for Whifbitz hybrids, up to 440bhp - cost approx £2k including fitting (with Whifbitz) Swap turbos for Turbo Technics turbos, up to 480bhp - cost £685+ VAT (assume this is per unit without fitting) I am a noob to turbos so please excuse the simple thinking if I'm just picking on the pub ammo stats. The Turbo Technic units seem like they are better as they can handle more power and boost pressure. One more beginner question; I know you need to upgrade the ECU for fuel management, can a boost controller completely control the boost pressure, so you wouldn't need a restrictor ring? So what are everyone's opinions and what other options are out there?
  9. Good post, I had an NA 5 speed which I miss greatly, it was a lovely box to use daily. I have an auto now which is great and the best auto I've used bar far. But, I do prefer a manual as you feel more involved, so I hope to be 6 speed some day
  10. They're Veilisde style arches, the rears look too wide for the originals
  11. More info about the change in bonnet scoop please - it looks great
  12. I've filled up in a Dubai petrol station with the engine still running, no problem there for any of the cars doing the same - despite the warnings to the contrary over here. Even seen a guy do it here who worked for Shell
  13. At last, been waiting a while for an update! Sounds great and was nice watching the vid, blanking the fog light looks even better than I expected it to - good work! What's next?
  14. I'm 6ft and it fits me well, I think it's a 19" frame if I remember correctly. I had a quick look earlier but didn't see anything on the frame - you're probably not too far from me if you're 10 mins from central London so you can come round and try it out I would avoid going to Halfords, Argos or any other store selling a wide range of goods - they just want your cash and have no knowledge. I've bought my past 2 bikes from Evans and the advice/service has always been good, although servicing the bike has been a little wanting recently (Woking/Kingston)
  15. Are you still looking for a bike? If you're looking at a second hand bike I have this which I've been meaning to sell as I've moved to a road bike. It's decent with full Shimano setup (hydraulic brakes/gears) would just need the gears tweaking and some new grips http://www.evanscycles.com/products/genesis/core-10-2009-mountain-bike-ec017149
  16. I'm in, otherwise they're being sprayed the same as the body - The rings must look OEM tho and not stuck on!
  17. I guess this doesn't count for those that are fixed and don't have the moving parts as I've not long passed
  18. I remember turning 25 and getting excited about my insurance premium dropping loads, it didn't, it doesn't, that was folklore from back in the day
  19. Fair point, but it could be sold after the hard copies have been sold. Those who want the limited edition run and were on the run should (and will) get first refusal
  20. Have you thought of doing a digital copy?
  21. Has to be 199 silver, that's why there's so many of them (Although I love a white Supra, the colour really suited my last one)
  22. I'm still interested, how would we pay, cash, PayPal or card?
