  1. Not sure on that 1. I'm just using an AEM wideband gauge and run a signal wire from the gauge to the Syvecs.
  2. That's what forums are about dude.
  3. It's more annoying than anything else Chris. I should have pinpointed the wire as soon as I identified there was an issue but I moved the wires about and it must have fractured. It could even be 1 of my solder joints. I'm too pi$$ed off to look at it tomorrow, I'm better off leaving the garage locked for a few days to chill out and refresh my mind a little. I'm going to fire Ryan an email to see if he can shed any light on it.
  4. You need to use a 2 wire oil temp sensor. Wire 1 of the wires to any ground on the loom and the other wire to pin 59 on the Syvecs plug.
  5. You only need 1 knock sensor. The Syvecs doesn't use the 2 stock sensors. Mount the Syvecs sensor on cylinder 4 just below the head anywhere where there is an M8 bolt. It wires into the Syvecs loom as follows:- Pin 17 knock sensor input Pin 18 knock sensor ground.
  6. managed to get my Veilside carbon mirrors fitted today, they looks the nuts. massive thanks to Stevo for carbon skinning these for me. Ive tucked the ECU and wiring away now under the ECU cover and carpet so all the interior is finished. Unfortunately ive hit a little problem, well a big problem really. After I put the cover over thew ECU the car wouldnt start. I pulled it all back out again and it fired. So i must have a frayed or damaged wire somewhere. Whilst the car was running I wiggled the wiring and the car spluttered and seem to die. I then pulled the wires back to where they were and it fired again. Ive got no errors from the Syvecs at all. the problem has now got worse and I guess the wire must have completely broke cos the car wont ever try and start. The pumps are running but its not sparking. Ive checked the resistance between the ECU and the igniter and its all fine, so im at a bit of a loss really. I suppose this is the problem with old 1996 wire. its going to get brittle.. So now im left with the task of trying to find it, which could take forever and a day. I think ill drop Ryan an email tonight and see if theres any sort of dignostics the syvecs has to check what curcuit is faulty. and I was expecting to have the car out next week. gutted.
  7. you can get a lift up with me Ross if you want.
  8. Well Rob bad been known to hang out of, I mean WITH the odd bloke.
  9. How did you manage to fit the gearbox to the engine with that clutch in place Paul. I couldn't even get a single plate in with that hub sticking out. I had to slide the clutch onto the box and bolt it on through the inspection panel.
  10. If the car I crashed or wrote off, they replace the parts (if repairable) of pay me for the parts (minus odviously wear and tear.
  11. The aero is very handy for that I'd make more money back in parts.
  12. I spoke to 3 different people there and they all said the same.
  13. I'm not sure if I'm still going Steve, it's going to lash down all weekend.
  14. I've a feeling 15mm will be too big. Your wheels aren't sunken in that much. I've for 4 x 3mm spacers you can try if you want.

  17. Well seems CCI won't insure supras anymore I gave A-Plan a ring. The guy there was more than helpful. Listened to everything I wanted and was super helpful. The policy is as follows:- Comprehensive Protected NCB 3000 mile limit All mods declared A like for line policy for all parts It's insured as a 1000hp car and my premium £688. I could have hugged him. Now I best get it finished so I can bang some miles on it.
