  1. Hello and welcome. Have made James aware of this thread.
  2. The det3 piggyback can be used in fuel implant mode Scott, may be worth a look. Batch firing as you describe could work if you can configure it right, 1jz engines used this method and the ecu has only 3 injector drivers.
  3. Sweeping statement that, because all ebay sellers flog crap eh. Conceptua have been around for a while and have good feedback. Titan, Demon tweeks and other decent companies sell via ebay too. It will be interesting though how this works out for the OP and if it stands the torque figure quoted, if so it could be a good solution for some.
  4. We had one that got through our filters at work and someone opened it on his windows phone, couldn't make sense of it and when he got in the office opened it on his networked desk top. Had some sort of virus that hadn't yet made it into the AV database and caused all sorts of problems. Was an invoice for timber.
  5. Excellent stuff, thanks Ant for putting these up. Shame we didn't see the Supra run.
  6. I have the back box from the brand new cat back system I butchered to make my system. It's brand new and you could simply sleeve fix it on what you have left. Yours if you want it Darryl. I think I may even have a really good quality sleeve here that would do the job. This is it when it was on the car for about 3 days, its been sat in a plastic bag since chopping it off somits still like new:
  7. I can't stand Burger King. Service is always dire, painted on flame grilled taste and over priced in my opinion. We always used to fall into the Burger King trap when using Eurotunnel on the way out and always wished we hadn't of bothered and still had the cash in our pocket. KFC comes a close second, use to love KFC but in the past few years it's just a sloppy mess and we just don't use it at all. Starbucks is overpriced nonsense. Subway is probably the best in your list imo. Interesting what Man with Supra said about McD's Coffee. Since they started doing proper coffee instead of that disgusting US style stewed filter coffee they used to serve up I reckon that its the coffee that is McDs saving grace, as an expresso drinker I always think its as good as anywhere and a lot cheaper than all the trendy coffee places that are everywhere now.
  8. I have a 2003 Kia Sedona, Leather, 7 seater but seats can be removed to make a larger cargo area, twin side doors, 2.9 Turbo Diesel. Just had: Head gasket replacement, service, head skim and pressure test, hand brake cable, CV boot, timing and aux belts, 2 new front tyres, Water pump, rear tyres less than 1,000 miles. MOT'd last week. Downside is that under load it has a miss and needs 2 of the injectors cleaning professionally, or the injectors replacing and then the ecu coding to match. Stands me £750 and just want my money back. Although it was a real pain to work on, it would make a great motor for someone with all the common failure points now addressed. It was bought to take overseas and be left at our home there but we are going on Thursday afternoon and I ran out of time with this and last week I bought another car to take instead.
  9. I am away this weekend, but will try and make any future meets.
  10. My boss said he saw a couple of silver Supras on the M1 on Saturday and described one as having a larger spoiler than others, showed him this thread and he said instantly "that's the one". He would have been in a very new BMW and he and his teenage lad were looking over at you.
  11. Wish this had been up for sale on here on Monday, but went out on Monday evening and bought something else as I needed something quickly, but this would have been ideal. GLWS I have sent the details on to a friend who I know is looking for something like this too.
  12. Wow so many people feeling the love for these. I could have a word with the mods to see if a one off group buy could be allowed maybe, but wont be for a while as I am away quite a bit in the next coming weeks.
  13. Engraved sign, might look good in someone's garage, workshop or man cave. Really bright and nicely done, powered by mains. £40 delivered, £35 quid collected Central London (Belgravia) or East Northants Only ever been unpacked and tested but never been hung, so no scratches and as new.
  14. Drop Herbiemercman a pm, he was looking for a cooler, this would be a quick fix kit for him
  15. Good read, enjoyed that. Good luck with the car and welcome.
  16. Just for the record guys, I have written to the person concerned at SP explaining that the pitch was more suited for 18-20 cars and that we struggled. The reply was simply thanking me for the feedback. No explanation was offered or promise that future bookings would be different.
  17. As far as I know, the NA uses just MAP. When I was messing about with a supercharger on mine, I needed to put a one way valve inline with the MAP sensor because the moment the sensor saw boost the engine cut out, not that that really helps your situation. I can't think what you mean about a MAF sensor behind the intake? Unless there are some variations, certainly the NAs I have owned and the wifes looks only to have MAP.

    Dart-Charge

I agree and in the case of Dartford Crossing, until it was available on-line and the cash booths done away with, you couldn't even get a receipt for it! Which being a VAT registered business I never really understood how that worked. At least now its online you can do a print out from the website.

There is a lot of signs warning you of the change and before them there were lots telling you it was going to happen. However I do feel your pain as I made two return trips in April/May time and forgot to pay for the first one. But, I had a nice letter saying that if I paid right away (in the next 7 days I think) the fine would be waived, but it was worded in a way that first glance appeared as though they were fining me the full amount. When you have had a little rest and cleared the dog wee up, murdered your neighbours and filled the bonnet of your new car, have a good look at the letter you may be OK. It was just after Easter I went made the first trip and forgot to pay. Hope so.
  20. I am not sure we have had a small section previously? Last year at the finale we had plenty of room but struggled to fill it. Santa Pod get a bit funny about it and want you to commit to a certain amount of tickets per stand size now. I committed to 25 cars and that was the space allocated to us. I could lie and say we will have 50 cars turn up, but then when we don't it makes us look silly the next time we request a plot. Its a bit of a juggling act tbh, and understandably not too many people want to commit early on and pay up for a ticket well in advance for Santa Pod events, but then its difficult to make a firm commitment re the size of stand we want. But, I will speak to them re the size of yesterday's stand as it was a struggle, but better than using the public car park that's for sure.
  21. Thanks for the great turnout today guys. The pitch we had was meant to be for 25 cars but they must have measured it for 25 Micras as 18 cars pretty much filled it without parking on top of each other. Will mention it to Santa Pod next time we book. But great to fill it this time, puts us in good stead for future bookings.
  22. Thats a shame mate. I am much the same tbh, I have spent all day under the poxy Kia trying to get it ready for MOT next week and a mammoth road trip loaded to the gunnels to Romania the week after. But, have decided I need to at least spend a few hours away from it before I go mad.
  23. I too am of this opinion. I rarely sign on for the bigger shows as the wait times are usually pretty long, although that said the last rwyb I did was just as bad. Makes you realise what a great event Suprapod was.
  24. Its worth a try! Last year I got in at about 8am, just drove up to the booth passed her the ticket and she asked if I was an organiser, said yes and in I was. So assuming you are asked the same......say yes.
