Yes, but he is a good speaker isn't he, I guess that's one of the reasons he is President. And yes I agree, Cameron looked like a little boy who had just been exposed during the proceedings. I've started to take a real dislike to Cameron recently, but whats the alternative? Corbyn maybe I have found the whole debate pretty fascinating and continue to do so, some of the true strengths and weaknesses of individuals in government have come to the surface recently.

What are peoples feelings on Obama's speech then? Will it galvanise the nation into supporting the remain vote or will it p*.*s people off so much that he is meddling in our affairs and most likely asked to by Cameron and his mates that it has the reverse effect that they were hoping for? So wonder if we did leave just how far the queue would be to us if he needed our support or we had something that they needed and couldn't get it elsewhere? I also found interesting one analyst on the TV today noting that he used the word "queue", feeling that it would be out of context for most americans and they word normally say "back of the line".

Yes I feel the same and it is a concern. But, I also feel so strongly now that we should take this opportunity to get out then if that's a price we have to pay for a while then so be it. I am so irritated with all the spin for the remain camp, Jeez they have even wheeled out the King Spin Campbell now trying to create even more fear suggesting IS want us to leave. Worryingly there are people out there who will only look at snippets of info like this and make their decision based on this type of scaremongering. Its a shame that the good speakers for the out vote like Farrage seem to be getting so little airtime and media coverage in all this. http://europe.newsweek.com/brexit-alastair-campbell-isis-putin-trump-450557 I am even tempted to buy one of these: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/EU-NO-THANK-EU-Referendum-Bumper-StickerS-100mm-x-100mm-x2-/231865786056?hash=item35fc471ec8:g:d3UAAOSwyjBW2a8I Or better still: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Just-Say-No-1-x-Referendum-Brexit-EU-Euro-Car-Bumper-Vinyl-Decal-Sticker-/121943329935?hash=item1c64638c8f:g:GUsAAOSwe7BWzxGf
  4. I have this very one, but sadly it hasn't stood the test of time. The mechanism that operates the pump is a poor design and over a period of time due to the play and movement in it falls to pieces. I have rebuilt it a few times now using washers to pack it out and reduce the sloppy fit and its ok ish. I have left it at my other place now as an excuse not to use it as the missus bought it for me and kept asking me why I was still using my old (not so low profile) one which I was always moaning about and not using the one she bought for me. David will confirm this as he heard me swearing a lot about this when we were changing the engine on her NA last year.
  5. Does it come with the BNC - PL259 adaptor?
  6. Great picture Chris. Darling from Blackadder, I can never look as Assad without being reminded of the likeness. You wouldn't really want to be the poor sod sitting behind Putin as a translator I presume. His fate when the tables are all turned again would be uncertain I would think with his inside first hand knowledge of what was said by whom and when. Actually, its not uncertain more like certain the only uncertainty is how. My money is on fatal car crash. A few lookalike pics: http://imgur.com/gallery/cYDST
  7. Based on previous posts it's an NA Chris, this is why I think there is every chance the famous earth cable has been tucked out of sight when the engine was out.
  8. Did you check out the things I suggested in this thread: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?332662-Injectors-won-t-prime Having experienced almost this exact fault previously on my wifes car, I would be checking the ground pin of the MAP sensor first of all, if anything other than zero then its an earth issue and likely to the be double tagged one shown in the photo. Moisten a wrag with a little fuel and hold it over the intake while cranking if you don't have any easy start.

I use this, its available from GSF over the counter and if you sign up to their newsletters they have discount weekends regular, think since Christmas they have had 3 or 4 with 40% discount codes. So how are you going to use your pump to empty it completely? I am a bit confused by that. The torque converter holds a lot that will need draining, with the sump only holding some of the full amount quoted.
  10. I haven't organised anything this year for Santa Pod. Mainly because its likely I will be away this year on this date and secondly as if we wanted a decent pitch Pod wanted most of the ticket money up front...way up front. I may well try and get something together for the finale though.
  11. Check the earth that always gets tucked up under the inlet has been put back: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/attachment.php?attachmentid=187142&d=1402933309 Also, check you have 5V and 0v at the Map sensor, obviously one of the 3 wires on the sensor will be varying dependent on vac. We spent a day getting to the bottom of my wifes NA a few years ago with similar symptoms and it was due to the earth shown being left off. Only discovered it when I checked the voltages at the map sensor and realised the ground leg was sitting high due to this earth being left off and tucked out of view.
  12. Yes, the bloke who owns that one is a regular at pod and really friendly and a fan of Supras too. He gets some really good times consistently. Looks great Monsween.
  13. Doubt it's the obsession, more likely the Chlamydia.
  14. OK thanks, I seem to think you live in Luton, didn't I drop your ticket for an event off one time or am I thinking of someone else? I am in Luton regular as the old lady still lives in Round Green so maybe we can work something out if you are there.
  15. Ah shame, if its not raining all day I will be there and running. 11s would be great but for me that's a long way off. Took me long enough to get into the 12s tbh. You've done well to get where you have and keep thinking I need a hi stall in my life now.

£9m of our money spent on trying to get their own way (still without facts according to reports today) is to me incredible. Thank god we are in a "period of austerity" as who knows how much they would have spent otherwise.. Although it won't make a lot of difference, if enough sign then it might cause Cameron to squirm a little: https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/116762
  17. Are you going this Saturday? Although the weather looks dreadful so if it is as bad as it says it will be a wash out.
  18. I use waste oil and creosote for some large gates and posts at the front of my house, but because of legislation passed some time ago I cant find real creosote anymore. The closest I have found is "Creocote" available at Toolstation. It takes a fair bit of mixing as the stuff on sale now doesn't seem to be oil based like the proper stuff, but it does eventually. I have also used it in one of those really cheap electric spray guns too, works ok and makes it a lot quicker. Fair bit of overspray though so wear a mask and park the Supra round the corner.
  19. Not.to hand, they would have been chucked in my jap bolt tub. If you have the dims I may be able to identify and pull them.out, but no promises.
  20. Hi I do have one tow eye, yours if you still need it.
  21. Is he still TT, if so thats a great time! I was planning on going but never got chance to prepare/change the wheels etc. Will be there next saturday for sure though.
  22. Took mine out today for the first time in a while, tho its always tax and insured as it sometimes gets used through the winter. Also as a bonus I think I may have cured the sequential fault it has had for a while. Felt lovely and full of bpu goodness.

Good post and sums up my own thoughts pretty much. Interestingly one of my sons has just returned from a 4 year stay in South Korea, before he went he spoke to his then employer to see if he could go back and work there when he returned. Well he has just been offered his old job back for £2 an hour less than what he was on 4 years ago. Reason given - migrant workers are queuing up for positions and happy to work for less and on flexi hours (by that they mean happy to be laid off when there is no work and available for longer hours when there is).
  24. If you can wait a bit longer (the weekend), I may have one or two parts. Feel sure I have recently tripped over a tow eye.
