Will they also use OEM parts? When I bought my V70 it was from a franchise Volvo dealer, they replaced certain parts and never used OEM.

Ha, well what a turn up for the books. Where I was considering going contracting when my mums estate was wound up and paid out. I got wind of a contract couple of days ago and have put my notice in today. Bricking it, but the daily rate is too much to ignore. Issue now is if my current job can release me in 2 weeks. I am going to be doing the exact same shortly, become a IT Contractor. But I am going to go down the LTD company route rather than Umbrella company. Contractors that have been in the game for years all say LTD company for better Tax savings. Also, just get a good accountant to handle everything, so that leaves you to concentrate on getting a contract and earning.

Not exactly a hot hatch, but got a D5 myself. A 2014 V70 with Polestar remap. So only producing 230bhp, but the gearbox remap does not make it so lazy on the gear changes. I could have gone for a different remap, but if my car ever went in to Volvo for anything, as part of the service they update the ECU which will always wipe any non polestar remap. I dunno if that is the same as the older C30's.

Just watching Barrett Jack live on Discovery. The had a piece on the new 2020 Supra, and the say VIN001 will be auctioned off live tomorrow night for charity. Making it the first new Supra to be sold. It it will be a 1 of 1 in the particular trim, Matt paint etc.

For the number 1 issue, the active spoiler. If it were that it should be on all the time and not just at speed. Both my Supras had same issue, and red triangle was on constantly till I removed the module from behind the dash. So in all honesty I would spend the 5 mins it takes to remove the module, if it even takes 5 mins, it is located behind the stereo. Then that’s one less issue to list for 5 mins work. Unless it remains after that then it is something else I think.
