As with all cars, extra security is as the title of this thread says, only a 'deterrent'. If a thief wants your car they will get it regardless of what you fit or disable in full view of any CCTV. Will just take them longer is all.

It is idiots like this that should get licence revoked for a very long time and insurance only paying out 3rd party, then his insurance cancelled. Then 11 points on his licence when he does get it back after an extended test. But hey, I do not want to come across too harsh. It just not bear thinking about if people/kids were in their gardens, someone walking their dog etc.

Shame the account is private, but was that not the same member that was banned from the site? Was a while ago, can't recall why. Part of me thinks it was due to trading or selling parts/disputes but I could be totally wrong.

Would it not have been better to keep the regions 'as is' what we have on the forum just now? Unless that is part of the mystical revamp? As the 2 now contradict each other, even though one is events and other is members. The glaringly obvious one is Yorkshire is never classed as North East.

Adrian Flux only used my NCB one one of my cars, even though I went with them for 2 of my cars this year. So full NCB on one and zero on the other as only recently got the car.

5) Why do points stay on your premium for 5 years, when you can legally remove them from you licence as they are not valid after 3 years. Oh yeah, like everything insurance related it is about money and money only. To make profit and to cover costs i.e. this blame and claim culture we seem to have adopted at an alarming rate from the Yanks.

When did you pay your membership? You need a red mod to update you to club member. Unfortunately this task seems to be lacking and other new members have been affected.

Wheeler Dealers done a program on the 996. Cannot recall if it were a turbo or not, but as Scooter has said engine can go bad due to a small part located around engine/clutch. It is a well known 996 fault. Can’t recall if it were turbo or not though. 997 is a nicer looking variant if your budget can stretch to that.

Fully agree with what you have said. Question is those Mods that are not active, they will know they are not active themselves why do they stay in their position? Like all other times where the forum has recruited mods, it has been to help and support the club. By being inactive this basically is not fulfilling the position. Speaking with other members, based on the list JB put up, it is almost a forgone conclusion who will be new mods when and if new mods are picked. But hey this is just my opinion and I am sure there will be mitigating circumstances. And for old times sake, this forum is going down hill.

I think Rosey got supermod long before the new refresh was supposed to be done. I guess we have to accept people do have lives outside the forum, as for member paying in Jan, well if it did go through then I guess there is no excuse for that especially with red mods having access, unless only one of them does the membership, if that’s the case then there is a single point of failure.

Yes, wife does it. Also her dad is housebound, when she takes shopping to him (she does not come within 5m of him when she does, before anyone comments) he also wipes it down. When you live with this scenario, it kinda makes sense.

eBay or you could pay your membership, £10 per year or £30 for life which the allows you access to for sale/wanted section. You can then post your own wanted advert. Or, does your exhaust come with or can a bung fitted? If it can, then source Oe maybe or get one made.
