  1. All I have 2 tickets for Jimmy Carr this Friday 23rd June at Sheffield City Hall, due to my wife's father being in intensive care. The seats are in the circle, Row C so quite decent as City Hall is not a huge venue. http://www.theatresonline.com/theatres/sheffield-theatres/sheffield-city-hall/seating-plan.html Looking to get back what I paid minus the booking fee so £60. Would prefer if possible people to collect them from me but can post special delivery.
  2. That is one thing I have never read in 'British Media' ..........Arab/Muslim, but I am in no way saying it doesn't so would love to see examples, as that is just stupid way of describing anyone. I would also love these idiots to describe what a 'Muslim' looks like, somehow I think they would have to describe every skin colour under the sun.
  3. Exactly my thoughts, a terrorist is a terrorist no matter what colour of skin they are. Very very odd to bold it.
  4. Ok I got bored with it after 2 goes.
  5. I prefer 'realist'. These new rules are not going to change how I drive, and if I am caught I will accept pay the fine and move on. More important things to worry about that paying a few pounds.
  6. It is very relevant, as not one of us on this forum (well there might be) rights the law of the land. We may not agree with the law as we are being asked to slow down or not go over the mandated speed limit for that road. Whether we agree or disagree unfortunately the law is the law and moaning about or moaning about the fines is pointless. If you stick to the speed limit you will never be subject to the unfair justice people feel they receive when they are caught breaking the law for speeding. It could be worse, they could instant ban speeders and make you sit an extended test, or even more extreme crush your car.
  7. Not in the slightest, as I said in my posts I am not Mr goody 2 shoes, I am an idiot and sometimes speed on roads, if I get caught it is my own damn fault. As for your 'sorry I never seen the sign' that would just add to your speeding, driving without due care or attention if you get Mr Jobsworth Plod pulling you over.
  8. Again, we are not saints, I cenrtainly ain't. But there is a solution to this, don't be such an idiot to speed on public roads. I really don't get the whole moaning about it, yes it is not fair the way it gets done and even more so if they do not allow some sort of tolerance, the punishment could be £1 or £100,000 it matters not as you will not get punished if you don't do it. No one is to blame except the person that gets caught.
  9. This. None of are saints but if we are stupid enough to go at silly speeds where the higher fines are on public roads, no one should ever complain about being caught. If you are caught, no one is to blame but yourself. I think the new system is still very lenient.
  10. If they do not need an ISOFIX car, then a Volvo XC70 D5, a 53 plate with the 163bhp engine. Get it remapped, I had one and I could get easily 800 miles on a full tank sometimes more if I took my time, which surprised the hell out of me considering it is AWD and weighs 1.8 ton. The D5 engine really did take a remap well. Get one with full service history, when I let mine go with 193k miles and the engine was as clean and dry as a bone. Never had a car quite like it. My lass was a solo singer and we had no trouble with boot space, the ones mentioned above are smaller than the XC70 for boot space.
  11. Had to laugh, LH bigging up VB, all genuine smiles apparently. Wonder how how long that will last before it goes sour and cry baby LH throws his toys out 'if' VB actually starts challenging him and beating him. I guess he better refer to his conspiracy book for new excuses now he has a new team mate.
  12. R..... In all seriousness though, same engine been on a while http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?338512-eBay-2JZ-GTE-V161-auction-BEWARE
  13. Good move for Alonso to be fair, in the grand scheme of things he will not exactly be missed from that weekend.
  14. Really!!!!!! After 2 races, one of which he came 3rd. He had a bad day at the office, like all the greats.
  15. Money in the bank, V5 filled in correctly, receipt clearly showing date and time of sale and strictly sold as seen. After that who cares what happens to the car.
  16. Looking forward to this seasons Formula Procession.
  17. Cheers guys. Will be doing a lot of that before any money is spent getting plans or planning permission. Also calls to local council too.

    Wills

The way a will is formatted, although saying that there is no definitive way a will should be written (I think), you should clearly mark the date and that this will supersedes all other wills prior to this date. And your 2 witness signatures who cannot be beneficiaries or executors counter sign it. You could get them to sign the date then the rest of the will. Yes shred the other ones.
  19. Car/Bike/kit car is born were brilliant.
  20. So that was a very polite FUQ to the new makers of WD. Good on Edd, always been a fan of WD's.
  21. Cheers Peter, the property in question is in Melling, Merseyside. Litterally we will not be building a thing, only getting planning permission in order to then sell on, as selling it with planning permission will (should) ultimately be worth more than selling it as is.
  22. Has anyone got any dealings in this? Bit of background, the wife's grandfather passed away last year and his property sits in a fair bit of land, not talking acres but if done right could fit a good few new builds on it or numerous flats. As the property sits, it has a large 3 bed bungalow on it 2 very large double garages, they all would probably get demolished and rebuilt as they do need some areas worked on and is single brick as it is old. So silly question and tried searching the planning portal, do you need plans to get planning permission? What are costs in getting plans? Is it as simple as paying an architect many many pounds to come up with plans to submit to planning dept. What else is there? We do not think there will be issues getting permission as the land sits in heart of a village with new builds. What are timescales? That being said property is worth in region of £400k on a really good day as it currently stands with no planning permission. How much as a guess does planning add? I know that is an open question as it will be based on what is finally planned. But if it may only add £50k and planning fees come in at say £25k then it might not be worth the hassle and wait. We we still have to get the property valued properly for all aspects as we had valuation done quickly for probate. The intention is to sell the property with planning and the estate gets split 2 ways. My wife obviously would rather her and her family benefit rather than some developer by selling it for the max they can get.
  23. Bulb figment thread. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?215323-What-Bulb-Guide-Pre-Facelift-and-Facelift
