  1. It certainly states, in the Highway Code, that you should "assist" an overtaking car, presumbly by allowing space to pull back in, or not hoofing it, closing the gap , swerving out into them etc etc, (all things I've had done to me) Which brings me to the hypothetical situation wherein you are driving your Supra to the edge of town, doing 30mph in the 30 mph limit, the NSL signs are ahead, there is a "Saxo type car" (the point being, its small, and presumably undrpowered in comparison) on your bootlid weaving about. Simultaneously as you accelerate away past the NSL signs, the "saxo type car" goes for the overtake. Based on the sentence in the HC, should you, by law, back off and let him pass or keep accelerating and let him hang out there until he either backs off, does something stupid or causes a crash? I can't help thinking that against all common sense, or sense of pride, one should back off and let him pass to be fully compliant with the HC. For extra value, imagine there is a third car, an unmarked Traffic cop, following you both.

    Man Vs food

I did once eat 4 burger king whopper meals in one go. Having watched MvF, I realise I can never go to the USA as I would not fit on the plane back home.
  3. Beating a new born baby to death with a s***-smeared dildo would be much worse than drink driving. Just saying.
  4. And that girlie Rosie, who once posted a pic of herself in a nice bra. She's gone away now.
  5. Who was the chap with three supras? White blue and grey? Oh, and Justin Foden, who can forget?

    Record Store Day

There is one vinyl shop in town and it sells only very old retro stuff and never actually seems to open. When 50 Words For Snow came out, I wanted to buy the CD from a proper shop, not a supermarket, but I couldn't so ended up getting it from Sainsburys with some toilet roll and a pack of croissants.
  7. Sounds like a bad day, but I bet you didn't p**s on your own knickers though.
  8. Just bought a pair of PC towers, i7, 16Gb ram, 1Tb HDD, 1Gb GeForce card, 750watt psi, I forget the mobo but it £1200 the pair. I might just go for BF3 now

    Happy birthday Rob

I was late for work as my belt buckle broke getting into the car, and due to a lapse in concentration in the karzi, I pi***d all over the front of my boxers. Happy effing birthday.
  10. I presume this is a house, ie, your house, and not flats. You only need fire separation between compartments, so you kitchen and the upstairs karzi would not qualify. If it were another residence above, then yes, it would be a fire rated ceiling.
  11. I've driven way over that speed on a motorway
  12. Interest rates are low, if you can get a capped mortgage. House prices are low too.
  13. http://www.comparestoreprices.co.uk/images/si/siemens-nespresso-coffee-machine-tk70n01.jpg We have this one, which we got as a freebie when our original one...http://www.comparestoreprices.co.uk/images/ga/gaggia-nespresso-automat.jpg had a minor part fail, and Gaggia couldn't fix it.
  14. That one is not Nespresso, its an espresso. I presume you understand the difference. I've been using Nespresso for 10 years now, its excellant quality, far better than any of the other capsule types out there, Senseo, Tassimo etc. There is no mess with it, no need to deal with coffee grounds. Costs are about 22 to 32p a cup.
  15. AFAIK the hole out the bottom of cisterns will always be the same, the kits come with all sorts of adjustments for cistern height, so you should be OK. BEst way to find out is to suck it and see, not literally of course, that would be disgusting.
  16. Cheers, I would be very interested, dependant on price of course, kind sir.
  17. Anyone got a pair of rear shocks/dampers for the NA, mine's gone all bouncy.
  18. I think it should be morally acceptable to hunt lions, leopards and the like...as long as you do it unarmed, and you kill them by punching them to death. If you can do all that, you'll be a man my son.
  19. D'you know what, I just put the Ultra Brite ones from Halfords in, in dipped, fog and beam, and they're really, really good. Plus its BOGOF on all their bulbs. You have to fiddle about trimming off the black tabs to the right size but you'd have to do that with anyones bulbs if they weren't the Jap ones.
  20. Debt Management companies are there to make money off debtors. Should have gone with the CCCS, they are a charity. Usually, when a credit card or whoever, sell a debt they will sell the total amount, ie the loan plus the full terms interest added on, as that is what the customer agreed to when they took the debt. If a debt has been sold on to another company with new additional terms and interest thrown in, then this is not what the debtor signed an agreement too, so worth checking all that out as it sounds dodgy to me.

    Chrono Po*n

In a conversation on t'phone with t'mother tonight, she told me that there was an underground Rolex factory in Dartford. Oh nooooooo! Not more "underground" bumwash from Dartford, underground tunnels, underground arms factories, underground gun emplacements etc etc, Dartford is just a hub of bulls***, it seems nearly everyone there either worked underground, knew the Krays or "Kenny" Noye or lived in a house built on an old plague pit. Now I would assume that all Rolexes are made in Switzerland, but iut does appear there was a Rolex factory here http://g.co/maps/mj2nh recently subject to a planning application for new houses, so it must be due for demolition. Can this be true? IN Dartford of all places?
