Now that the underside is done the car has been put back onto the dolly.  Kane has made up some brackets which allow the car to sit on the subframe points instead of the seals or chassis rails - don't want to damage them having just had them all repaired!

The inside for front wings have been treated with the same Cobra underseal.

Kane has also now started painting some of the ancillary parts, but also did the rear spoiler.

Jason at Yam6 has sent through a good number of the parts I've ordered, but there are still a large amount still to come.  I'll get some pictures up once I have them all through.

It's been a real chore to sort the parts into their respective sub assemblies ready to be installed on the vehicle - but this is better than leaving them all mixed up in a box!

Yam6 will be my go to for the time being.  The prices they offer are very good.  The other bonus is that they aren't too far from me, so if I order a part like fuel lines, I can collect the part.  Many places simply won't order such parts for you because of the difficulty of posting them.

I've also started dismantling my Alcon ADeX front (6 pot) and rear (4 pot) calipers so that they can be resprayed and rebuilt.

I've been in contact with Alcon to identify what the model numbers are and therefore what parts I need.  The rear calipers were difficult to identify, but I was able to establish that they were from a Jaguar XKR.  This has helped identify the correct model number.

I need new pistons and seal kits.  Unfortunately as these are race spec calipers they don't have an external weather boots, so are prone to corrosion.  The corrosion isn't bad, but you can see a visible mark / lip and I can't live with that, so I'll buy new.

I also need new bridge pipes.

Front discs are a floating type and 365mm.  Rears have been custom made to work with stock UK rear brake discs.
