Going by the state of the filter has it ever been serviced  good luck with it.

I'm sure it has, just not sure when lol

looks good. not a fan of the red but better combination :)

I wasn't at first but its growing on me... Or i'm just accepting that it will be too bigger job to remove lol

The dash looks, without exaggerating, 1,000,000 times better already! :D Good work.

Thanks dude, still got little bits to do here and there though.

Just had a crack at re-trimming the centre arm rest;

More Paint stripping, feels like I have loads left to do.....

Started getting more off,

Jet wash did a good job, was the only safe option I could think of without damaging the paint on some of the plastics,

Finished 1x lot, still more to do mind,

Looks far better,

Those headlights are easy to refurbish too, half way through mine now.

Did them on my last Supra too, well worth it!

Thanks dude.

What are you using to refurbish them? Had a look around but see folk saying its not brilliant or a permanent fix...

Been thinking of some new wheels...

I like the Rays TE37's but the design is becoming a little too common imo.

I do like the Rays 57D, decided a test fit would confirm my decision so I know how much i have to save 

image

Turns out we had a spare wheel on the shelf at work, 18x9.5" ET22 and weighing in at 8.2kg.

Rear fitment is spot on with the 10mm spacers and still plenty of room,

Front fitment with the same wheel sticks out a couple of inch so would need to go for a staggered fitment with a higher offset on the front,

Black on White looks to be a good colour combo, just have to do my reaserch on the front offset and then get saving...

decided to take the plunge and start the bigger job of the rest of the red dash :) looks like your having a whale of a time with this project looking forward to more progress :)

I will be once I can spend on it lol

Taking the dash out and putting back is where all the work is, if you go down that route change the heater matrix it will cost but while its out might aswell do it.

I have considered this, just got to price it up. Brakes require some attention so thats pulling my money at the moment :(

Ive seen some examples of red dashes, and I think if done right, they can look really nice. Those were retrimmed mind you, not sprayed. Doing a good job so far though mate! What you planning on the brakes? Ive just upgraded to UK specs on mine...just fronts for the time being, stainless braided lines and a full bleed. Made a noticeable difference after a while!

Brakes are 4 Pot Lexus Calipers up front with standard JDM rears.

Will be looking at Performance Friction Z rated pads all round if possible (or a similar compound), AP Racing fluid and Braided lines.

Front Rotors are slotted but unsure of the make, will source a matching set of rears too from somewhere if I can...

Made a bit more progress on the interior today.

My friend re-trimmed the door arm rests in Suede, whilst I repaired some of the red paint and re-painted some of the plastics black...

Before,

Arm Rest wrapped,

All Done,

Really chuffed with how they came out. Still more to do but all getting there slowly

I've just used t-cut on mine,

They've turned out great, the last pair did too.

They can cloud up if not sealed 100%, but it's easy enough to take them out for another quick polish.

Your only other real option is to get some glass headlights, but this is a costly fix.

Plus I prefer the facelift style look, without the official facelift cost.

Give them a go,

Decided it was time to give the old girl a service. After looking at the state of the Air Filter a while back, I think she has been somewhat neglected.

Some folk have no mechanical sympathy..! lol

Decided to try out some of this HKS Super Racing Oil that we had in stock, along with HKS Filter and Mishimoto magnetic sump plug :)

image

Not the cheapest Oil out there I'm sure, nor will it make it any quicker but its quality stuff and I get it fairly cheap from work.

Peace of mind and all that...
