Started chopping the old suspension out.. Drop links were a bit stubborn so I got the old grinder out!

Rusty bits all scrubbed down with a wire brush..

Waxoyled body and high temp paint for the suspension components :)

Yeah ... quality looks impressive. Is it a 60 mm turbo?

 

It's a XS T61 here's the exact spec.. Might switch out to a Borg Warner unit when it's all built up but I've heard plenty of good things about these turbos on similar builds

Cheers mate :) I'm very happy with the set up.. the Pillowball mounts don't seem that harsh and still has a good ride and feels a lot more planted than it was.. Still needs some adjustment to get it sitting completely level think I may take it for a full geometry set up soon

Cheers guys they are metal monkey ones but I had them custom made to my spec... Not cheap but quality product!

Yeah I've rolled the rears, the fronts were fine.. However I'm playing about with the ride height at the moment and think it will need to go up a bit on the front as it does rub occasionally on bad pot holes.. Want it to be as low as possible but handling/ drivability is more important
