I did think this, surely it changes non of the factory settings if you remove the input feed from the turbo and just have the stock plenum running to a filter basically not taking any forced induction that would run remotely well

:yeahthat:

Also I will be doing all of the work myself apart from the wiring for the e-manage ultimate. so what I'm wondering is will I be able to drive it using the stock ecu? Obviously Only to get to my mapper about 15miles away?

Why do you not want to wire up your e-manage yourself?

I've posted up a manual showing each wire Pinout so its easy to wire it up.

Save yourself some pennies and get your hands dirty :)

I've posted the link on how to wire up the greddy e-manage in the NA-t club ;)

Cheers dude, thats great! Posted a question up in the thread related to it.

Does anyone on here have the CD & "special lead" for use with the Greddy e-manages? (Not sure if the ultimate & blue use the same?)

I will upload my cd onto my laptop and try and upload it the club NA-t. :)

You sir are a legend!!

I have the cd and cable, the cable is just a standard printer cable! It has a USB at one end and the squire plug at the opposite end.

I read somewhere that the cable had to be a "specific" Greddy cable? (though looks just like a standard com port (printer -style) cable)

Standard cable.

Maybe the contacts are better. Who knows.

Don't forget, some need the software update otherwise it won't work. I tried hunting for a difference cable previously but it was just a software update that was needed.

Stock USB lead works fine.
