Ark Posted October 6, 2009 Share Posted October 6, 2009 (edited) ...results were not good. It showed up piston ring and head gasket leakages. So decided to do a quick refresh You had to rip apart the block and replace the piston rings that were fried? I hope Steve's floorpan didn't fall out when that damage happened!! (Sorry, Fast and Furious moment ) We're at Snet for the Saturday trackday, planning to stay over and watch some time attack on the Sunday. Daz has built the bottom end up, so head has to be fitted and a few bits checked before we can get the engine in. Head has had a lot of valve work done to it so cams may need to be shimmed before we go any further. Time's running out but we're full steam ahead to get everything done!
