From what ive read it would make little to no difference with lag. Im not an expert but if its good enough for the boostlogic cars its good enough for me. and as i say a lot cheaper than hks and greddy stuff ive been quoted on which is a big factor for me:) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Yes, one thats 200 gallons would not be ideal If the IC is oversized then it will introduce lag, the IC volume should be matched to the cooling the turbo requires, which based on some very rough figures (which tbh are years old), an HKS or Greddy 3 row is perfect size for the Bl T67. You might get a little extra lag on the big BL one. I guess the question is whether you want to introduce a 100-200 rpm lag into the system at lower loads. I read the BL blurb boasting how their intercooler was the biggest available, so had a look on their website to see what it was like. It has obviously been spec'd for big turbo applications ie. drag racing/dyno queen Supras. Saying it will support 1500+ rwhp is a good marketing claim I guess (bigger is always better in the US ), but for your set up it is not ideal. As Daryl said once on boost you'd probably not notice the difference, but it will make a difference to low down response.
