  1. What an awful looking body kit, up there with the charge speed
  2. It did the job nicely, the tank is white though so it got a good rub down with scotchbright and then a few coats of satin black. Much better there than under the o/s headlamp. And before anyone asks you can check the level on the hose that sits inside quite easily
  3. Here's an extra pic for antno, i had a remove part of the battery tray as i made a bracket for the tank to slide onto.
  4. If you want bling get your stock airbox plastic plated in chrome, gold, copper etc You could always get it Water transfer printed in carbon etc This was Rob's
  5. HKS give you a bracket to mount the stock tank under the o/s headlight when you buy their R spec FMIC I did away with this and bought a Honda Civic tank which fits nicely between the battery and wing.
  6. £30K !!!! I think i'll give them my car to sell for me
  7. When started to look at buying one in 94 i was only given the options i listed in post 2 with the only variants being auto or 6 speed, black or beige/cream leather, also i was told if i had a black car i couldn't have black leather. I heard that special orders could be placed but that was years after i bought mine, it might have been on here where i heard it
  8. The main UK colours were Black, White, Red, Silver and Storm/Teal Blue I think you could special order Green but not sure about any other colours
  9. The o/e bumper is quite flexible so should survive without going too bonkers with the wrapping In my experience it's the corners that cause the problems, i always tear up some cardboard strips and tape them directly to the bumper around the corners before bubble wrapping
  10. I don't think its quite that wide, a stock supras overall dimensions are 1810 wide 4520 long
  11. To check the matrix isn't blocked couldn't you just put a hose pipe onto the inlet of the matrix and see if it flows out of the outlet ?
  12. I'd say this is part of your problem
  13. 3 spokes can look good but those advans are plain awful
  14. Good god man what are you thinking ?

    service

When you do get round to doing the service include having a good look at the brake calipers, mainly at the outer seals and the sliding pins if their the smaller calipers.
  16. I think they look fine but their very cheap, a quality 17" tyre will cost more than the wheel ! I personally prefer a more simplistic wheel, most 5 spokes work well on the supra and are much easier to keep clean. They list 17 x 8.5 and 17 x 10 but no mention of the offsets, they also list 18 x 8 and 18 x 9.5
  17. Been there and done this and to be honest i think all three look good. You need pics of the whole car to make the call on what you prefer.
  18. Whilst doing the bushes on my landcruiser we had to cut the drop links off. I've been running without the front arb for over a week whilst waiting for the correct parts to arrive.
  19. If you cant get the drop links undone how will you fit the new arb ? More often than not the only way is to cut them off and replace them. Driving without an arb isn't a big deal as long as your not pushing the car hard which in this weather you shouldn't be

    New chap!

If he'd really loved it he wouldn't of fitted power flex bushes The cars come stock with eccentric camber adjusters front and rear on the lower arms and eccentric adjusters for the rear toe as well. I'd sell or bin the BC suspension and put some Bilsteins on it with lowering springs. Good luck with the transplant
  21. Find out who sells the Hypermax 2 and see what they say, i think these can be re built but probably not cost effective to do . It would be a better move to buy a set of Bilstein dampers with lowering springs in my opinion edit: I've just looked and it appears these are discontinued, i'd give Chris Wilson a call and see if he can help you
  22. First off sort out the leaking damper by replacing it, preferably with a new pair at the least. Secondly if the car has platform adjustable suspension and you've been twiddling with it i'd get it into geometry place that can set the car up properly inc, ride height, corner weights, camber, castor and toe
