  1. There should be a test for anyone building or buying cars with crazy high hp let alone one to see if the cars are actually safe etc The nut behind the wheel is the biggest issue
  2. Is there enough room to get a ball joint locking tool in there, plenty of different types for sale if you google ball joint locking tool
  3. No, i searched for the op's thread title of best sounding air filter, i must be seriously bored. Think i shall go out and give the supra a run
  4. I've just googled this and it seems like its quite a popular topic on several car forums
  5. Don't ever try to figure it out. I'm getting quotes for Q7,s and Range Rover Sport's approx value £20k, more powerful more nickable than my Landcruiser worth £8k yet my Landcruiser is £450, Q7 £330 RRS £320 go figure lol
  6. I have also reported it.

    Mini meet

I've just spoken to the landlord and he's more than happy for us to use his pub as the venue.
  8. Why don't you report the advert

    Mini meet

In case you haven't seen it Neil the pub is open on a Saturday from 12:00 straight through to 23:00 with food available from 18:00 to 21:00 so people could get there earlier as the pub will be open

    Titanium Wheel Nuts

It depends how much of the stud sticks out through the wheel, be worth measuring this before you start. You'll have to add on X mm's for how much is in the cone as well as how much is actually above the wheel face 15 mm would give you 10 full threads with a 1.5 mm pitch so that would be fine as far as thread engagement goes.
  11. Agreed Stock front with active lip on the supra would be the way to go
  12. I'd be more impressed if you came up with your own graffix rather than just copy someone else's

    TT6 on eBay.

I don't do ebay so i have no idea but can't this be reported ?
  14. Sounds to me like your calipers are in need of some TLC especially on the pins
  15. You want to check the wheel top to bottom as well holding it at 12 and 6, if you get any movement it can also be play in the ball joints from either the top or bottom suspension arms in the hub

    Hi!

I'd be more wary about all the stuff you can't see from just walking around it. Ask if its had any new parts fitted to replace old worn out ones. Calipers will need looking at as they will be on the verge of needing a refurb unless they have been done along with suspension arms seizing on the eccentric adjusters, front cross members rot, radiators tend to suffer with age along with the heater matrix, a/c rad, crank pulley, brake & fuel lines over the rear axle need a thorough inspection I personally wouldn't buy an old mkiv unless i could have it up on a ramp and do a thorough inspection. £1900 is pretty cheap but not if it you then have to spend £1k + on it fixing the above items i mentioned and if you bought new Toyota parts £1k wont be enough by a long way
  17. £1200 for a top notch job here in the west mids apparently, i think its a drive through
  18. VMC 500/1000's, 5 axis & mk2 interacts didn't do much turning other than old school toolroom
  19. Mines a 2 piece and yes that's what i used to do for a living on Bridgeport machining centres
  20. I made some a while back with a cam pulley cover
