What history does it have, mileage, when was it imported, whats it like underneath, are the suspension arms on the verge of needing to be replaced or have seized eccentric adjusters, same goes for the brake/fuel lines, brake calipers, water rad, heater matrix, ac rad All the above items are what you should be looking at along with has it ever had the suspension geo done, camber caster & toe ?

Too actually stop the car from moving sounds very very bad in my opinion, i'd be getting it on a ramp and doing a serious inspection of the drive shaft cv joints and the diff. I'd be inclined to drain the diff oil into a clean container and see if its got any parts of the diff in it. Undo the filler plug before you drain it !

I can't recall which Nankangs they were and it was a while ago but my experience of them then wasn't good. I'd be intrigued to try a set of their latest tyres just too see how good or bad they are now. If their better than Avon zz3's then they have improved massively in my opinion, i have zz3's on the front of my supra and i'm very happy with them One thing i wouldn't do is put these on a car in pairs, a set of 4 then at least the grip will be the same front and rear, matching these up to another tyre on the front or rear could spell disaster.

Why are you stopping so far away from Assen ? I'd personally drive up from Rouen to Assen on Sunday 665 km (6hrs) Stop at Assen Sunday night then go to the show on Monday, then after the show and being up all day i'd have thought you'd need to stop over another night before driving the 900 kms (9hrs) back to B'ham

I'd imagine it depends on exactly how its been turned into a turbo set up and what boost your running. Stock TT 0.8 bar is on 6's, 1.0 bar 7's

Just doing the lip will depend on the finish, if there polished bare aluminium you will get away with just doing the lip, if their painted, powder coated or lacquered you won't and you really need to do a full refurb. Ibrars the guy to speak

If you try to weld to it get a magnet first to see if its steel or aluminium. I'd try something like the sockets above first

A good pic close up in the wheel will really help. Is it a steel nut or aluminium alloy ?

A good place with a paint scheme can tone the colour up or down so with a little effort you should get a very close match

As i said match the paint on the body shop colour chips, a good paintshop will be able to get it pretty close and no need to paint the whole car Are you just painting the bumper ?

If your car has been painted are you sure its the Toyota factory red ? I go to who ever your getting to paint your car and get the colour chips out and check

Is the washer pump on its own fuse, check for power to the pump, check the new pump see if it works

Your going to need a widebody to get anything like the wheels in the first post to fit a mkiv, nothing against the Jade R's but their not even close or the Lexus TTE's
