  1. It shouldn't be Black nice cherry red colour so change it asap
  2. Are there any bubbles in the p/s reservoir when you turn the steering
  3. I guess you got the ecu with the autobox
  4. Could be overboosting and hitting fuel cut in the colder denser air I guess its an auto, has the atf ever been changed along with a new filter, check the level and colour on the dipstick, it should be cherry red.
  5. AVS 5 spokes are similar but might also be hard to get
  6. Seems to be the norm on most sites, if you give a genuine opinion on removing stickers or posting up better photos then its of use to the seller, otherwise don't post
  7. Good luck with the sale Chris, shame to see your selling up.
  8. Edit your pics in paint, stretch & skew, reduce the percentage
  9. Surprised to see that Chris is selling it, i met him up with him at his place a few weeks ago as i bought a set of 5 spoke Range Rover alloys off him. I like the blue wheels
  10. I didn't say he was skillless, i said more hp than skill and appeared to be very lucky in the video, on public rds its pretty dumb no matter how you call it.
  11. Good luck finding a nice one, they're out there, you just have to be patient and do your homework so you don't end up being the one who spends thousands keeping it on the road.

If the worst happens Admiral will give you a round of drinks for your car so be careful using them, you'd be much better off with a specialist Cheap isn't always the best, just like tyres
  13. Yes it could be half empty rather than half full but knowing what i know and seeing what gets posted on here would make me extremely cautious if i were to buy another mkiv na, tt or single. Jap or UK with or without history. Sorry to sound negative but at least that way you shouldn't have any nasty surprises All the rubber parts would concern me (suspension bushes, crank pulley, brake caliper seals, engine hoses) Along with radiators, intercoolers, heater matrix etc which if they are the original ones can't be in that great a shape on a car thats 20 yrs old and done over 100,000 miles
  14. I'd be checking all the suspension and get it properly checked if its possibly gone off the rd
  15. It would overheat if that was the case.
  16. So much can go wrong with a mkiv tt now their getting old its a lottery buying one. Everything you can't see is what will cost you money, scuffs etc on paintwork is the least of your worries
  17. When its cold try this, Run the engine with the rad cap off, get it up to normal operating temp, set the heater to max hot, raise the rpm to around 2500 and hold for a while, then release and top up the rad as the bubbles come out, check the heater and repeat until its hot then top up rad and put rad cap back on, fill expansion tank to max level
  18. Solihull so only down the rd from you. Check the part i've posted pics too that Tim mentions in the previous post
  19. Looks very nice but needs a stock bonnet in my opinion , jap or uk with scoop
  20. More hp than skill and just shows what it can do in the blink of an eye
  21. Not too far away from me What did you do when you ran the motor up after flushing the matrix ?
  22. Where abouts in the West Mids are you Rob
