I won 100 quid on the radio once. My best mate got five numbers and the bonus ball and won £52k on the lottery, should've been more but there were a lot of winners that week.

I never really thought class was an issue anymore until I went backpacking. It was there where I met British students taking gap years who clearly saw themselves as middle class, some of which were very proud of the fact which I found odd. My Dad was a scrap man (now builder), my Mom was a cleaner and I'm a builder too. My Dad has been very successful in business though so I'd say we are wealthy, so does that now make us middle class?

My old man always says your mates are the ones you should keep an eye on. The irony is that it's them you trust the most with your bird.... A few years back one of 'our gang' was shagging my best mates missus. When it all came out there was fireworks to say the least. Nobody speaks to that lad or that girl anymore and they rightfully have no friends. They went out for a while afterwards until she did it again to him!

I had a missus for 6 years. We had a house and mortgage together, a dog and we were engaged. When we split it really did feel like the end of the world. She moved on and got a new fella but I spent the best part of a year feeling gutted and sick over her. To imagine her with somebody else was even worse, my stomach turned at just the thought of it. But as said time is a healer and even though you can't imagine it now you will find love again. I have already and in all honesty i'm even happier with my new girlfriend than I was with my ex. The most important thing is to NOT keep contact, delete her number no matter how much you don't want to (drunken texts and calls are not good!). And get back out there, go out with your mates and have some fun. I guarantee this time next year this pain will be a distant memory.

My ex girlfriend set my Ebay account up for me a while back and as a joke chose Hornyconrad as my seller id. I thought it was funny at the time too but then my feedback score grew I didn't want to start all over again - so I still have that daft name on there. Nobody has ever said anything, even when they've collected goods in person!

The one user name that always makes me laugh is that of a dude over on a boxing forum I use - his user name is Beanflicker! I laugh every time he posts regardless of how serious he's being. I guess that says as much about me as it does about him.

OMG - you diagnosed all that from a couple pics! Personally I couldn't care less if this thread was a wind up or not. But if it's not then nobody has any right at all to make comments like that or like some of the others that have gone before it. How would you like it if that was your wife or girlfriend people said that about?

I can't wait for my holiday. I fly out to Vegas on April 16th in time for the Calzaghe Vs Hopkins fight on the 19th (which I'm going to). I'm staying in Vegas for a few more days after that then driving over to San Diego in California. After a few days there I'm heading to Palm Springs and doing the Coachella Music Festival (The Verve are headlining so it will be the mut's nuts). Then back to San Diego for a few more days before I fly home!

Me and my friend have a website but need somewhere to host it. As it's just for fun it doesn't reall matter if it's free and has adverts etc.... We don't mind adverts of an adult nature either if that gives more options. Can anyone recommend anywhere?

Never been myself but going there next month. I'm off to Vegas to watch Calzaghe then me and the missus are driving over to San Diego and then Palm Springs for the Coachella Music Festival! A friend of mine who's been before loves San Fran and said that San Diego was nice too. My only advice is use Trip Advisor.com! You can list all the top rated hotels, restaurants, attractions etc for each and every place you visit. It's a handy resource plus all the reviews are from fellow travellers so it's honest and unbiased.

Yeah sure if you don't mind bud, so long as the stud pattern is still in tact and it can be attached to the car - the rest of the wheel doesn't really matter...

My mate has been doing a project over on Scoobynet where by he's mid mounted an Impreza engine into a Mk 6 Escort shell and made it RWD for track days ! Anyhow, he wants to use the same stud pattern as the Supra and have wider wheels at the back. So he'd like to have/borrow an old Supra wheel to use as a template. Anyone got one - doesn't matter if it's damaged....

We have our own place in Florida, have owned it three years now and only been once. Florida is just not our kind of thing. Great if you have kids I guess but everything is so damn far apart you have to drive everywhere - no exception. Popping to the local for a few beers is just not an option.. Now Vegas is a much better option!! I just got a return flight there for 300 quid!

You did the right thing then bud, it needs to be around the 'poor' book price listing for it to be worthwhile imo. There'll be other cars no doubt.

Personally speaking whether a car was Cat C or Cat D has never been an issue for me. I just view it as something that affects the value like high mileage, rust or no service history etc... If the car is Ok then I'd buy it no questions, so long as the price reflected it's history...

My girlfriends Grandad owns a 'mint' 1980 light blue Chevette! It's one owner from new and done just 55k! How can someome have the same car for 28 years!! Anyway, he wants shut of it and has asked me if I want it! Not to my personal taste but it has to be worth something to someone! Anyone know where's the best place to sell something like this?

Can anyone explain what this means: I've read the terms and condition of the sale and they charge a 15% handling fee if I return it - that will be around 40 quid!! I think it may be cheaper to upgrade what I've already bought. It currently has 512mb of DDR2 ram - do I just by another stick of the same stuff? What does that above mean?

Any cheap deals on the net people would recommend? I'm annoyed I didn't look more into this. I stupidly thought that spec system would be enough for Vista as it's more than enough for XP.

I know. But like a muppet I just thought anything would do as it's only used for the net and very basic Office tasks. My girlfriends laptop with half the spec runs twice as fast on XP!

My girlfriends Mom entrusted me with buying a new budget laptop. I opted for this one here The thing is it's unbelievably slow. From when you turn it on to when Vista is fully loaded it takes 8 minutes! Shutting down takes just as long and it's only running Avast Anti Virus. Doesn't sound that long but believe me it is!!! Plus it freezes every now and again for about 30 secs! It's as if it's full of viruses but it's not as it's brand new! Is this just Vista that's slowing it down? If so what kind of spec will run it acceptably? I looked at refurbed XP Laptops on Ebay but opted for this Vista one to get a warranty. Any advice? I'm thinking I'll send it back.
