We've been burgled a few times in the past and since then my Dad keeps a baseball bat by the side of his bed. He mentioned this in passing once to our soilicitor who we see a lot through work. She then told my Dad that if he was to attack an intruder with it he would be prosecuted. Although, if it was my Mom who attacked the intruder (or my Mom just said it was her ) then that's classed as self defense because she's a women and wouldn't be able to defend herself properly without it. Worth knowing I guess...

Yeah it plays everything: MP3's, WMA's, original CD's etc... With a built in 6 disk autochanger you can get up to 1500 MP3 tracks in it ...

I sold my Supra yesterday and now driving another car (BMW - Sssh!) which has a single din set-up. I no longer need the double din one...

Sorry mate - it's a fixed face. Always the downside to a double din stereo.

That doesn't really make any difference though does it? Good point on the Blu Ray though. My plasma is 720p, will there really be that much difference when playing a Blu Ray disk on that compared to a 1080p screen?

We have a 42" Samsung Plasma and we love it. You can get the 50" for £798 here It's a full HD tv but not 1080p - not sure if that's really a necessity to be honest. I don't think anything is broadcast in 1080p is it???

I bought this stereo last July for £300. You can see the stereo and spec here: Clarion WXZ468RMP It's pretty much brand new and comes with all instructions and fitting screws. I had snipped the wires on the harness as the stereo I took out my Sup didn't have the universal stereo connector. I have now taped the harness up and it works as new. I'll take £180 plus P&P.

The magazine comes out tomorrow as we all know, but does anyone know when the site gets updated? You'd think they'd wait a day or so to get you to buy the mag but I just wondered if anyone knew for sure.

If you buy a Cat C car that needs repair - can you just repair it and away you go or does the insurance company have some sort oif hold over it?

Corvettes - I love em! The only car out there that has a better rear end than the Supra They're really cheap too. I bought my first silver TT off a trader in Nottingham who specialised in importing Corvettes and Dodge Ram pickups. He'd took my Supra in Part Ex against a Corvette. I don't know which model you're looking at Martin but you can get the newer shape one on an R reg already here for around 13k.

Oh I know dude, I went to Colca Canyon in Peru last May. The Condors I saw there were immense, the swooshing noise they made as they flew overhead was surprisingly loud. I have some pics on my laptop I'll post up later, they're a bit rubbish though as they were done with a compact - plus catching a bird in flight is difficult.

Even more so after my first sentence: I believe you're right Neil - quite a common bird in some parts of England according to a few websites. Not native to Wolverhampton though so a rarity around these parts - unlike a different kind a large bird!

I was just sitting in our office at home and noticed this huge bird sitting in the bush across the road! Luckily I had my camera right next to me as I'd took some pics of my car and uploaded them earlier. Anyway, managed to get a pic or two although on 18x zoom! I was trying not to shake but still got a hangover from last night so not as steady as I'd like. Anyone know what this is? I believe there's two that live by us, I see them hovering sometimes (catching thermals???)
