Pfft, too much holding and rolling around on the floor for me. My best mate goes on and on about UFC and how much better than boxing it is. I watched Chuck Leddell(sp) a while back and considering he was meant to be the best at that time the man was fat and overweight. How can a sportsman who's the best be fat? I guess I'm just biased as I'm a massive boxing fan, now that's a real sport.

Hmmm, well I actually wanted one with the USB power supply. I used to use my external HD with my laptop so felt that I'd rather not have the extra PITA of carrying a power adapter. I now use the same hard drive with my new PC and in all honesty again prefer it with the USB power supply. I only have 4 plug scokets for my PC, TV, Sky etc and have no spare, I do have plenty spare USB sockets though...

What are the reasons for no log book?

Of all the films listed the best ones imo are: Juno In Bruges Gone Baby Gone No Country For Old Men The Dark Knight 21 was Ok too, I also really like What Happens In Vegas. But, what you really should do is forget every film mentioned and download The Wire. Greatest TV show I've ever seen, there's 5 seasons too so plenty to watch. Can somebody explain to me how the size of the screen affects the game? I have a HTPC I built with the intention of adding a gfx card at a later date to play games. I doubt I'll be playing any games that require huge resources but just wondered if my 42inch Plasma will affect the quality somehow? Or is it just down to resolution?

I too have a similar injury which I incurred last night... In my drunkeness last night up town I attempted a break dancing move I believe is called 'The Worm'. Things didn't go quite to plan and as my 'man area' made contact with the dancefloor I managed to bruise my penis. What worried me most is that it looks like some kind of brith mark/rash and it took me all day to figure out where it came from. I was thinking allsorts until I remembered attempting the worm..

A friend of mine has a mechanics pit in his garage, he's always doing some sort of project on his cars so it comes in very handy. Trouble is when it rains like it has lately it fills in with water, it has just a single skin a brickwork to keep the water out. Any ideas on how to waterproof it? I'm guessing either waterproof render or some kind of drainage/soakaway. I doubt just waterproof paint will work...

Oh ok, thanks Gav. Sorry to be a pain but can you point me in the direction of what it is I need? Just any tuner card or something specific... I was hoping to record some boxing off Sky, not sure if it's possible (or better) to Sky+ it first then somehow transfer to PC. Or just record directly to my hard drive via a tuner card. The 2nd option suits me better...

Woop, sorted the problwm now. Downloaded a new codec pack and installed some ffdshow components. In case anyone was interested it wouldn't work because: On another note, anyone know if I can hook my Sky box to my PC to record TV? Will I need a graphics card for this or will my motherboard be able to do it?

Yeah i have that and Media Player Classic and they all play avi's fine. With the codec pack I have installed Windows Media Player 11 plays them all fine too. It's just when trying to view in Windows Media Centre they wont play

axxo is just the dude who uploads the DVD torrents, all of them are .avi files I'll have a look into the codecs and filter you have suggested. Justgav on here and a few others use an alternative to MCE, can't remember what that was called but may get that if can't get round the codec issue

Well when I very first installed Vista I tried playing lots of my axxo downloads in WMP and MCE, non would play. The error I get in MCE is 'Cannot play video. One or mopre codecs required to open this content could not be found' I installed K Lite codec pack and a Vista codec pack I found on the net. I also have Media Player Classic. I can now play everything if I open WMP but still get the above error when trying to view in MCE. Kinda annoying as I can't use my remote... As for the Wireless issue, that's down to my OS being 64 bit. The Wireless adapter I bought was 32 bit only and Netgear don't do a 64 bit driver as yet. I posted up on here if anyone knew of a 64 bit adapter but the only ones available are custom ones according to DamanC. No worries anyway, done a wired connectiion now which is better anyway...

Pretty much anything connected to 'New Build' is in a bad way by us. Brickie's, Plasterers, Sparkys etc are getting laid off everywhere. All the big sites are just being made watertight and then are shut up. Me and my old man are builders and we just do small new build sites to sell on ourselves. We're starting 4 bungalows next week which is good work wise but we're pretty worried that when we're done we wont be able to sell. We currently have 3 other refurbs we've done which are sitting on the market unsold! The kind of builders that are busy are those that do extensions, conservatory's, garages etc. We have a block paver who rents a yard off us who has never been so busy. That's what happens when people cant sell their house and move to something better, they improve what they already have!

So I've finally finished building my first ever PC, a HTPC. It's took me a good few months as I've been buying the parts as and when I could afford them. Finally got everything together last week and finished building it. Been a few teething problems, I'd wired a few things up wrong. I'd also installed Vista Ultimate 64 and didn't realise I couldn't get a wireless adapter that was compatible. Anyhow, here's my spec: ANTEC FUSION CASE V2 BLACK 430W Asus P5E-VM HDMI Intel G35 Motherboard HITACHI T7K500 500GB INTEL CORE 2 DUO E8400 2 X 3.00G CORSAIR 4GB (2X2GB) 800MHZ SAMSUNG 20X DVD+/-R/RWV WINDOWS VISTA ULTIMATE 64 I managed to build the above for £350. Luckily for me I could claim VAT back through our business and using sites such as Novatech I avoided P&P when possible. Oh and I managed to get Vista for free too which helped... I have it all hooked up in my room to my Plasma and have managed to get a wired internet connection hooked up as well. So far so good... My only problem is getting Windows Media Centre to play avi files. I have a couple codec packs installed and WMP 11 plays them fine, but just not in WMC. Any idea why this is?

This was justice IMO. Khan was never Pay Per View standard, tonight's result confirms that. I like Khan's offensive skills, he's fast and strong and exciting to watch. That counts for shit in the end though, he has a glass jaw and all the talent in the world can't change that!
