  1. Definitely low remote battery warning.
  2. Not had mine-but I am aware there was a problem, so I'm not concerned (unless you tell me you sent them!) Chantelle
  3. I don't have a problem with that, I know I'm right! absxxxx, PM me mate
  4. They, as a brand, are certainly not known for reliability withing the trade. Over the last 10 years, they're on they're third UK distribution company. Possibly why they're so cheap now...
  5. Laserline are good. I wouldn't really say it doesn't matter what name is on it. There are a fair few crap ones out there, and I'm sorry, I wouldn't touch Gemini with a barge pole
  6. You know it makes sense
  7. That does piss me off. We do inspections for £25 and issue propper certificates. There really is no need to charge any more than that. And, if it's not Thatcham approved, we don't charge anything...
  8. The Toad is a very good stable alarm system, but personally, I'd have a Clifford every time. The Cliffords warn-away is much better, and you get Blackjax with the clifford too. Not to mention extra channel outputs and the ability to have a good remote start
  9. Well, some of that I can't answer as I'm still on medication, but as for too much, or not enough, you'll soon begin to 'feel' how your blood is doing. Too high and you'll begin to feel lathargic, ache a bit, and generally feel grotty, too low, and you'll start to get a bit jittery and feel light-headed. Hopefully someone insulin dependant will be able answer your other questions
  10. Post them up on here, or PM. I'm sure whatever you're wondering, some of us have been there already
  11. Like me? - Simple, panic every time I have a blood test, and look the other way!
  12. I was 32 when I was diagnosed, I was 5'10 weighing 11 stone. In fact, I've never been overweight in my life.... I've been told it's just a matter of time before I'm going to be type 1.
  13. For what it's worth, I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes about 5 years ago. I really thought my life was coming to an end. As it is, I have something called 'fresh fruit syndrome' which means I'm allergic to almost all fruit, veg and salads. So for me, being diagnosed diabetic was pretty crappy. However, after about 6 months of being selfish, I began to realise that there are far worse things that could happen. Far worse. Slowly I began to come to terms with it, and now, apart from needing to take pills 3 times a day, I don't really suffer. One thing I will say, is make sure you eat regularly & properly. My work has pretty much turned upside down over the last year, and I haven't really been eating properly. As a result, I've lost a fair bit of weight, and it's a real struggle to put it back on again. Life goes on, and you will get used to it, but I'm not suprised if you feel preyy crappy right now. You'll be alright.
  14. Basic Performance Upgrades Edited: Too slow!
  15. Why on earth did you change wiring looms? - There are a few differences throughout the car. Not sure if theres anything that would prevent the car from starting, but, lets hope its all OK Have you checked for error codes? Have you got the engine earths back in place?
  16. Work permitting, I'll be there again. If only to see Adam and Colin intimidating the waitresses;)
  17. I've just had someone post an envelope through my front door with "JB's 02 sensor bung" written on it Errr, thanks
  18. Well at least she didn't die Got to wait 'til bloody Christmas to find out what the new girl is like!
  19. That's exactly why I like, and trust Mark. There are very few mechanics/tuners these days that don't try taking people for a ride.
  20. Listen to the voice of experience!
  21. Oh dear I think I need to buy a Micra! I don't turn right-I would rather have a much longer journey than turn right. I don't park-at a Scooby meet one of the guys said they had reserved me a space and pointed to a huge empty field Matt shouts at me constantly (when he's not complaining that I drive like Miss Daisy) because if he asks me to run an errand I panic and I won't go to the petrol station on my own:help: Chantelle
  22. Remind me never to do any work for you Sorry, but if I've been in the motor trade long enough to know that deadlines are virtually impossible to stick to. So many factors can prevent this from happening. Snapped bolts, seized parts, incorrect fitting parts, wrong parts, fabrication, fault finding, added extra 'just jobs', previous bodges, paint reactions, unavavilable parts, slow deliverys, customer telephone calls, customer visits, family emergencies, none of these can ever be factored in to an estimated completeion time. Many times I've heard people say, "It's got to go out today, so that will do"....

Lovely car eh? LOL, SorryI wan't more sociable. I didn't want to open the window. You may have noticed the huuuuuuge eagle shite on the drivers window... That was fresh, and I didn't want to risk it venturing into the interior!
  24. I made doubly sure. I went as far as removing the entire loom from the top of the bulkhead! - Seems like its a luck of the draw
