Depending on the year almost all are the same. The front is the rear has a different subframe and arb mount. If you want to use the Soarer stuff you will need to use the Soarer rear subframe. Basically the subframe on a Sup hangs out wider meaning the lenght of the arms is shorter, on a Soarer they are longer with a less wide subframe. The frames themselves are totally swapable, you just need to change the hand break cables.

I have a HTC Desire.... and for some reason it is always showing the 'out of phone memory' sign. I have removed most of my apps but still it shows. It first came up after the Flash player update but now it is there all the time. Any suggestions??? (I have a 32gig Mcard)

Lexus GS/RX 450h Hybrids Owners Experiences (or any hybrid)
Andy-No-Knee replied to jevansio's topic in Off Topic
Have you thought about getting the Jag converted to LPG? A friend has a hybrid Honda in Japan and has found he needs the batteries replaced - not cheap at all! I had my V8 4.7 Jeep Grand Cherokee converted, best thing I did! -

What's the nicest car you've driven? (apart from your Supra)
Andy-No-Knee replied to Stewart10's topic in Off Topic
I used to work a a Jag and Aston main dealer picking u and delivering cars from services, so all the Jag range inc the XKR and all the Astons inc the Vanquish up to the early DB9. Talking to the mechanics there they all prefered my Soarer to the Astons - more reliable they said!!! -
Anyone going to watch Top Gear after last weeks casual racism?
Andy-No-Knee replied to RedM's topic in Off Topic
If we are going to have political comentery commedians can we have the like of Ben Elton, Harry Enfield and the other bunch of champaine swilling socialists, at least they were funny, (and two faced and ultimatly shown to become and love the things they idalogically hated and ridiculed) unlike the dross currently being peddaled out. I mean good grief, I think I would rather eat my own feet off than have to sit through that bollarks again. -

Andy-No-Knee replied to RedM's topic in Off Topic
Yes I will be watching....avidly. (Now sat here waiting for the Racist comment/tag) I do sometimes find it a bit boring, but as there are only 3 presenters, and they write it to so they will eventually run out of ideas. Till then though it is one of the few things on BBC that I even bother to watch, I have to suffer enforced civility and PC-ness at work it makes a change (note I have not used the word NICE) to see something that doesnt have that. Free country and all that, Voltare said it best _ I dont agree with you but I will fight for your right to say it. Usually it is the uber PC rabid types who try to dictate what others should think and say, and looking as it was the Grunuad who published the rant I have to say it is sticking to form and type. Personally I wouldnt wipe my a$$ with the Grunuad let alone read it but each to their own... -
Ok, yes you need to drain the air con, yes you need to totally disconect the air con pipes and yes you will need to undo and remove that small plate. From memory you may need to get upside down with your head in the passenger footwell to look up the back of the heater to find the last of the bolts. Also there is (IIRC) a small bolt that is on the far right side of the unit, almos next to the door.

That is the cabin air temp sensor, on mine I just removed the tubing.
-
You dont need them, but while you are there it would be rude not too.... I did mine and it was a bieeatch and a half to cahnge them, the threads had set solid and the allen key centre was slipping so I ended up using the angle grinder. Have fun!

Full geo setup with print out in london...where to go
Andy-No-Knee replied to jackso11's topic in Supra Chat
A place in Battersea called Budget Motorist Centre. The fella there called Micky knows his stuff. They have a full 'lasered' Jim Bean? machine, and they give you a print out at the end of what it was and what is now is. -
Why not get a fire proof safe/filing cabinet?? Then that way the Sup log book, your passports, porn pictures of Dame Edna will be safe! Did I just say that?!?!?!?
-
Smoke alarms.... Your local fire station will supply and fit as many alarms as you need free of charge!!!! Please please please just call them on the free phone number (google will get you that for your area) and book it in! As for the testing... once a week is fine, but you also need to hoover the front once a month otherwise dust can clog the entry hole to the sensor stopping smoke from getting in and setting it off. If you accidentally set one off by cooking press the test button of n the front, they usually also ack as a 'standby mode' button that will put it in stand by mode for 15 mins, it will then beep at you every 30 seconds or maybe every minute to remind you it isnt working. Then it automatically reverts back to normal operating. Have a good and fire free Christmas and New Year everyone!!! Much as I love you all, I dont wanna have to come round and see ya!!!!

Some of you may know, I'm an officer in the London Fire Brigade. (Still on duty at the moment...) Last night I had two jobs, both house/flat fires. With one slight difference. Fire 1. They had a smoke alarm (hard wired to a burgelar alarm but otherwise the same as you can get in B&Q) and they had an electrical fire under their stairs. The alarm woke them up and apart from pi$$ing themselves in fear (and I really do mean that....) they all got out safe and sound before we arrived. When we did and I was in charge of the first arriving machine the fire was punching out of the front door and melting the downstairs windows. They lost everything they owned in the house through eifther fire or smoke damage but they were alive! Fire 2. On the 7th floor of a block of flats, no smoke alarm. It gutted the entire flat, one adult male escaped with smoke inhilation, one female dead of smoke inhilation. I'm glad I'm not the one going to the hospital and telling him about his wife/partner. People please......GET A SMOKE ALARM!!!!!

Really dont think its going to polish out do you
Andy-No-Knee replied to little num's topic in Supra Chat
Glad to hear your ok!!! Chin up on the injured back front, I had the same thing in 96, I fell 150 ft down an Alp into a French village and was paralised for 3 days. Made a full recovery so if that is what the doc's say then I would believe it. I got to ask though, how did they get you out and onto the long board without cutting the roof off? (I'm a fireman and am profesionally intrested). -
Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.7lt V8 with LPG conversion. Cheap as chips to run, all mod cons with comfort and 4x4 driving safety.

Yes Alan it should be a direct swap.

On the way to Gamers house to drive him to CJ's place to pick up the orange beast when I went over the QEII Bridge at Dartford. Started to hear an occasional clunk. It steadly got worse, so I slowed down from warp factor 90 and pulled in to the hard sholder and stopped. Got our of the car to see the rear wheel on the drivers side angled funnily and only 1 locking wheel nut left on the wheel but the stud it was attached to sheered off. (The nut was just sitting there in the wheel). All the others had gone .... Checked all the others and guess what?? Some little thieving scumbag had tried to steal the wheels, found the nuts so undid ALL of the nuts and only left the lockers on each wheel!!!
