  1. Huh!?!?! I would think (with my increadably limited knowledge on the subject) that the question of division is if the engine cylinder firing order is sutch that it sends conflicting pulses to the manifold and turbo, that would then dictate if you need a divided manifold and turbo or not.
  2. Looking at getting a new single manifold as I may be going for a larger single turbo. The maniflod I currently use is an HKS T3 undivided mount. Lots of the manifolds I am seeing show either a divided T4 mount or a single large undivided T4 mount. And I have read that the divider is used when the pulses from cylinders interfer with the flow from other cylinders. My question is does the 1JZ/2JZ GTE engine require a divided mount or a non divided mount. Thanks!
  3. I have them in place already, the HKS unit is a water cooler one.
  4. Well that makes life even easier....
  5. I think I am going to go for a BW S360. Now the next question is jurnal bearings or double ball bearings? What is the differrnce? I think I know the basic but not the implications.
  6. Wow!!! Suddenly they are in my price range and not for next year..... Hmmm. Thanks. So what would be an equivalent BW to the Garrett GTX3582R .82A/R?
  7. What, the BW are half the price of the Garrett ones?
  8. The ecu is an Apexi Power FC. It is for fast road. I keep reading on here about the BW Batmowheels. Are they better than the GTX3882 you have mentioned? Any ideas on the cost front for both?
  9. I have a single turbo kit at the moment but after buying a new engine (specs below) I'm thinking that a more modern turbo will finish the project off. The turbo kit I have is a HKS 30/37s turbo. It is good, fast spooling but runs out of puff at the top end. Not sure on what power figure I want but looking at the spec list below I think I am restriced by the 750cc injectors. Basically I just want to get the turbo without having to get new injectors and other bits, oh and idealy it will fit on the HKS manifold as well saving me even more dosh. So, the engine is a 1.5JZGTE with the following... 1JZGTE head. Ported inlet and ported/polished exhaust. Valve seats reprofiled. Ferrea 6000 series Valves. Inlet oversized, exhaust standard. Crower titanium valve springs and retainers Stem seals replaced Brian Crower 264/264 cam shafts HKS head gasket Greddy Cam Pullies. Greddy copy larger aftermarket inlet manifold Seimans 750cc injectors TTs fuel rail Aeromotive FPR 2 x Walbro fuel pumps and custom fuel lines. 2JZGTE block. Block was re-bored for oversized pistons. Crank shaft lightened and balanced. JE pistons Eagle rods ARP head studs ARP crank studs ARP rod bolts PHR oil pump Boostlogic Crank pully Now I really want it to be a fast spooling turbo, and as I say, I'm limited by the injectors which I dont want to change. Suggestions please..... and thanks!
  10. The wife/girlfriend????? Sorry...I'll get me coat....
  11. From 1996 the 2.5 1JZGTE went VVTI..... and went from twin turbo to a slightly larger single turbo.
  12. Sorry...not for sale now. She has decided that the work Blackbury is crap and wants to keep it.
  13. The missus has just got a new job and they are giving her a Blackbury so she doesnt need her 6 month old iphone 4S 64gig. It is locked onto Vodaphone but if you want to unlock it then feel free. Since new it has had a screen protector and a hard protective case (included - it has a carbon fiber type look), the ear phones are untouched and the box is imaculate. It is for all tense and purposes new and in imaculate condition. She is realy careful with it. The phone is a black case one. They are going on ebay for £550+. She wants £400 for a quick sale........(Its easter and she can hear the sales calling!!! ) I have some photos of it but they are too big for here, so if you are intrested please pm me with your email and I will send them through.
  14. There isnt a bleed screw. Hodge got a shiny gucci bit of kit from the US (see his Shiny Bits thread) to bleed his rad but in short it looks like a 2 ltr coke bottle with the wide base cut off and then the neck where the lid threads onto is then shoived into the neck of the rad. Fill the rad up and about an inch or so of the coke bottle and it will eventually run through. At least that is how memory serves.
  15. The qualification to drive may expire in 2020, but the actual photo licence part lasts 10 years!
  16. Those Drift Motion kits look good but they say they will not fit a right hand drive car without modification to the wastegate location. Still, sounds like good value.
  17. Is the Godspeed one a good one then???
  18. That face says....'Dad!! WTF is this cold white sh?t??? Damn!!!' Oh, he is fewking big now!!!! This is my 4 year old Akita....
